PART 3.Can we be friends?

A little bit of changes - There won't be the fight so it's just a peaceful night

J.Y. pov.

Lights out. I lay down on my bed quietly, imagining what it would be like in the outside world with endless freedom. The quietness in the room turned into bed sheets sounds being ruffled around not so far away. I sat up and looked around the room, seeing 067 tossing around the bed. What could she be thinking about at this time of the day? I wondered to myself. I stood up and walked over to 067 with a concerned look on my face. "Hey" I mumbled to her, not knowing if she heard me. She turns over to me and slowly sits up. I could tell that she was crying from her cracked voice.

"What now?"

"I-I was just seeing if you were ok. You know you can talk to me if you want to!"

"It's none of your business."

"Hey! I was just being nice to you!"

"Shush could you? Can't you see I'm trying to sleep?"

"Well I could see that you were crying like a fucking baby."

We both grew silent. I covered my mouth knowing I shouldn't have said something like that. I was ready to be yelled at, but instead, she wraps her hands around her knees and her head on top of it, burying her red puffy eyes.

"Omg I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be that rude-"

"It's ok."

She shoved over to the side and tilted her head towards the empty side of the bed, signaling me to sit down next to her. I hesitated at first but then slowly sat down on the bed, or more so a hardass mattress which you can't even call a bed. She lifts her head up and stares up at the ceiling while letting out a big, sad sigh.

"I'm from North Korea."

My eyes shot wide open in shock. That was probably the last thing I would have ever thought about her, I opened my mouth to speak except she continued explaining her story.

"Me and my younger brother, who is now in an orphanage, managed to escape. On the other hand my mother got caught and was dragged back."

"What about your dad?"

"My father was caught as well. Except he was shot to death. I came here for the money so I could get my mother out of the north and to also get my younger brother out of the orphanage."

"Wow- Even your stories are way too dark for me."

"How bout you?"She turns her head towards me.

"I just got out of prison ya know?"

I could feel all the memories starting to rise back up, tears forming in my eyes. I stayed there silent for a bit before telling her my story.

"It was all because of my so-called dad. I came back to school one day only to see my mom unconscious on the ground with blood all over her. Guess who killed her? It was my "dad". He was standing there holding a bloody knife."

"Not so long after, my "dad"dropped dead on the floor. And the one who killed him, me. He is a (?), he used to always pray to forgive our sins after he beats up mom or does the unthinkable to me. But he didn't pray that day he killed mom. Guess he just simply couldn't forgive himself."

She doesn't even seem half surprised, she only continued nodding her head everytime I ended a sentence. I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier, I leaned towards 067's shoulder and closed my eyes.

"It's SaeByeok. Kang SaeByeok."

"What is?"

"My name."

"Pretty name"

"Mine is JiYeong"

"Suits you pretty well..."

K.S.B. pov.

The little girl fell asleep on my shoulder, I could feel her heavy and hot breaths. How can anyone be this cute? I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, scanning through her face until she met her lips. It was so tempting to just give her a quick peck so I did it. I could taste her sweet, rosey smell which made me smile. I don't often smile, especially when in these kinds of places.

But I found my happiness, my sunshine. And I won't let her go. I won't let her get hurt.

I placed my head above hers and closed my eyes. "Goodnight" I whispered to her with a big smile. I hugged her softly and fell asleep along with her.

Sorry this took so long for a couple of reasons but I just have a quick question if you guys want JiYeong to die or not in this story (I already planned out the whole story but now I'm unsure about it)
