“That movie was shit”. Gary groaned rushing out of the cinema. "Waste of my hard earned cash".
“It wasn’t that bad”. Ryan rushed up to walk beside him. “I liked the bit where he jumps off the copter in slow mo like”.
“What hard earned cash? You haven’t worked a day in your life Gaz.” Aidan went behind Gary locking his arms around his shoulders as they walked
“That’s not true”. Gary smirked and looked over at Ryan.
“Yeah it is, you lazy sod”.
“I worked your mum pretty good last night”. Gary broke off Aidan’s lock and ran off with Aidan chasing fast after him
I zipped up my jacket laughing with Ryan as we walked on watching them run through people
“Gaz is so unfit he looks a panda running after food”. I was laughing harder and tearing up.
Ryan and I caught up with them as Gary was leaning against a wall completely out of breath like he’d just ran a marathon. Like that’d ever happen.
Aidan leaned against me trying to catch his breath. "Lets go before I punch his baby cheeks". He glared over at Gary who smirked back it him with a wink.
And panda chasing round two began.
We were walking back to our dorms after stopping by a shop to get chocolate icecream. Gary had been craving for it on the way and his constant complaining made us all hungry.
"You know what's better than icecream?" Gary began, his face painted with vanilla
"Don't say mince pie" Aidan looked at him shaking his head
"You know what's better than mince pie?" Ryan asked grinning with his icecream dripping on his hand
"Aidan's mum?" I replied licking mine and smiling at Aidan from the corner of my eye
"For fuck sake man". He laughed then rubbed the stick all over my cheek making me stand still as the others walked ahead laughing.
I grimaced cleaning the sticky icecream from my face and walked up to them. "Still up for football tomorrow?"
"Yeah." They replied in unison.
We saw each other off to our rooms and as I got in I threw myself down on the bed and turned on the tv till I fell asleep.
The next morning, woke up with a slight sore in my shoulder, stretched my arms out and fell my head back on the pillow to sleep for another five minutes.
Woke up again after 15 minutes. Don't worry I'm up this time. Lazily walked to the bathroom dropping my shorts on the floor halfway there. Had a long wee, took a shower, put on my Arsenal kit and stuffed my cleats and water in my bag and headed off the park after texting the others threatening them nicely that they had better come.

"She basically likes every post on Facebook and every stupid picture on Instagram, she's all over him" Dina kept talking while I managed to pull my headphones from under my shirt.
"Are you even listening?" She stopped to ask me
"Yeah go on." I replied almost blanking as I tapped shuffle on my phone.
"And then yesterday" She continued.."he posted a pic of him with a caption of his running record and guess what her comment was."
She paused and looked at me annoyed. "Mia, I can hear your music." She pulled the headphones off "Listen to this, it's important"
"Ok fine, what did she say?"
"She was like ohh Doc I'm so proud of you and she did THIS STUPID SMILEY FACE LIKE.." Dina pulled her face with her fingers trying to form a cat face.
Mario came over to us laughing after he had gotten his water. "She's just sociable and she does the same with all the doctors, its no big deal."
"Whatever." Dina said bluntly.
Evanescence had come up on my shuffle and I couldn't dare skip my favourite band. I was listening to the last bit of their song 'Lose control', my favourite part, when Dina decides to drag us all to the football field so she could look at football hotties. And their bums. Just great
"So what if I wanna give some girl a song to listen to, you know show my inner romantic." Mario asked as we made our way over to the field
Dina giggled. "Give her a cute song then" I looked at him trying to imagine Mario having a crush on someone
"Yeah well, give me one?"
"You should freaking feel it Mario, I can't just give you a song." I quickly felt guilty. "Give her something she likes, something you find nice even if it's the theme song of Astroboy."
"Who's that?"
"What the hell Mario, Astroboy? The robot boy?" I stared straight at him as if trying to instill some knowlegde he couldn't live without.
Dina started humming the theme song and I pretended to shoot Mario with my shotgun arm.
Suddenly something hard hit the side of my face leaving me with such pain and all I could think of was Astroboy avenging his reputation. "Oww! Fuck!" I exclaimed rubbing my face as it hurt so bad and made me cry a little.

I met up with Aidan and some other guys from our uni we usually play with, before Ryan showed up. 5 on 5 football and I was holding up defence. Like I do. A guy from the other team came through with the ball so I stuck my foot in and kicked it away off the field.
A few seconds later we all looked over to the sound of someone crying out in pain. "Didn't the ball go over there?" Someone asked
"Yeah..I think so." I walked slowly and looked over at Aidan gesturing him to come with me. We looked around trying to spot the ball while heading towards the sound.
"You think it hit someone?" I asked concerned.
"Sounded more like squirrel than a someone." He chuckled at his own joke and I just shook my head at him smiling.
We went up to where three people were sat still gazing around. "Hi, did you see a ball come through here?"
