𝐃𝐀𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐀'𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐌 entered the room. Everyone looked up. Except Dahlia.

"What is happening here? Louis why are you holding my daughter like that?" Violet wasn't a strict parent but she did want some boundaries.

Louis quickly let go of Dahlia.
"I'm sorry. She had a lot of aggression and hyperactivity in her and we needed to calm her down before Dahlia hit Noah's head."
"Dahlia. What happend?" Violet walked over to her daughter to give her a hug.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. I didn't mean it like that."
"I know honey. This is why you're going to camp with the people you love. It's good for you."
"Thanks mom."
"Now who wants to eat something?"

They all sat at the table eating. It was kinda quiet, until Violet spoke up.

"So Louis, I heard you are an actor." Louis chuckled.

"Yeah, Millie and I were in the film Enola Holmes."

"I heard. She couldn't shut up about it." Dahlia hits her mom's arm out of embarassement. Violet smirked at her daughter. She whispered in her ear: "Don't worry he likes you. I can tell."
Dahlia was relieved to hear that. Dahlia took another bite of her sandwich and locked eyes with Louis. Louis smiled softly at her. Dahlia felt safe.

"Hey Dahlia, can I talk to you for a minute?" Dahlia looked at her mom with a plate in her hand. Violet nodded and took the plate from her daughter. She followed Louis, until she noticed they're in her room. "Louis, why are we in my room?"
"I wanted to talk to you. Alone." Louis walked to the door and closed it carefully. "You know my mom is going to freak if she knows my door is closed while there's a boy in my room?"
"What's the harm Dahlia? It's not like we're doing anything. We're just talking." Dahlia nodded, but she couldn't help being nervous. How could she not? Louis is a tall, cute and kind guy who is in her bedroom alone with her.

"Tonight we leave for camp. And I was wondering if you wanted to stay with me during the day? I mean, I know you have Noah and that he's your best friend, but-." Dahlia cut off Louis. Looks like she isn't the only one being nervous.
"Louis. It's okay. We all stay together as a group of friends. Millie, Noah, you and me. " Louis took a deep breath, happy that he doesn't need to be nervous.
"Yeah, friends." Louis mumbled.
"What did you say Louis?"
"Nothing."
"Okay, uhm, I'm going to help my mom in the kitchen, okay? I'll be right back. Or you can also come with me, since you love doing the dishes." Dahlia smiled at Louis.
"Who told you that?" Louis couldn't help but laugh.
"The internet." Dahlia laughed and ran away from Louis.
Louis ran after her into the kitchen.
