So, hello guys! Here we have with us the FF Queen (as per me atleast) JeonMahi1864 / MahiSumedhMudgalkar. She is shipping BTS, Few South Indian Movies and Sumellika. Writer of 12 books. A very lovely girl and friendly by nature. I enjoyed talking to her during the interview.
What is your real name? (If comfortable)
Answer- My real name is not that catchy or something and I prefer my pen name better so yeah, I will stick to Mahi
Where are you from? (If comfortable)
Answer- I am from Aligarh, UP
When did you start writing?
Answer- Oh my...ummm when I was in 6th standard I wrote like my first ff that would be 5-6 years back.
Who are your very close friends on Wattpad?
Answer- The list is quite big...I will name two

Answer- It's a fic called Exiled Hearts by

How did u come to know about Wattpad?
Answer- I was surfing internet in a search of a fanfiction on Maximoff twins from Marvel when I came across the website
Does your family know about your books??
Answer- They know I write but not the details
Of the fics you've written, which is your favorite and why?
Answer- Oh this is a tough one, I will take up only this account since my old one is dead as you know. I think my best work will be my fav which is still to come, I mean I am pretty satisfied with Re-Building The Empire and Monster On Loose but think I can do better, so yeah not a fav work as of now all my books are my babies
How would you describe the relationship between author, text, and reviewer?
Answer- Author and text have a very interesting relationship if you ask me, text is basically just words anyone can write but a write author can make that text alive, the right use of right skill by right person can make a work a masterpiece.
As for reviewer/reader I believe in a "Trust then expect" You have to trust what you have written until and unless you believe in what you have written people will always be unsure of your work too
What do you wish to be when you grow up?
Answer- A PhD holding English professor and a writer ofc
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
Answer- Emotions. I always have a tough time whenever I write them bcz either l exaggerate them or don't describe them well enough
Tell us about your first published book? What was the journey like?
Answer- Oh my, well my first published book was a book called "Till the end of line" it was a Harry Styles fic and it only got like 100 views in its lifetime. The first book ppl will recognize is Tere Pyaar Mein under my old account @MahiSumedhMudgalkar the book turned out to be a banger even when it has some character issues with it. I published a no. of Sumellika books after that and they did pretty well until I turned a ARMY last September. I published a book called Catastrophe and it flopped badly, I thought it was because it was a pure BTS fic and my readers were mostly sumellikans so l came up with a book called "Majha : A Tangled Love Story" which was a sumellika story ft. Taekook and it didn't end well too. Turns out my readers had turned partial, I decided to start a new account which is this one but it didn't start good as well until I came up with Re-Building The Empire, it's the biggest banger on this account as of now.
So in a the journey has been ups and downs
Does one of the main characters hold a special place in your heart? If so, why?
Answer- Mira, she is very close character to me not only bcz she belongs to a book that gave my acc a boost but bcz I some time feel connected with her when I am low and it gives me a certain reassurance.
There is a character called Aavi, the book she belongs to is still in the stage where you decide if you want to publish it or not. She is something different I am trying to do with a character of mine which I have loved so far.
Who is your favorite author and why?
Answer- There are many I can't mention just one or two and leave the rest but one thing they have in common from my point of view is there aestheticaly pleasing writing, like use of metaphors and phrases and all that stuff
What books or authors have most influenced your writing?
Answer- I don't think they have influenced my writing much, like I have picked up a phrase or a metaphor but my writing style as been very much mine only as far as I think
What is the most surprising thing you discovered while writing your book(s)?
Answer- I hate autocorrect *chuckle* Okay that was a bad joke. On a serious note I discovered a part of me that I kind of didn't knew before and ever since I started writing its been easier for me to embrace myself
Where do you get your inspiration?
Answer- Daydreaming. I prompt gets stuck in my mind and I daydream abt the possibilities until it turns in a rough plot and then polish it and that's it
What are Sumellika or BTS to u?
Answer- I love sumellika but BTS hold a much special place in my heart and life since they have been able to provide me comfort when I didn't think I would get it and also they are the reason I met the V to my min
What do u like the most in Sumellika?
Answer- Sumedh is slightly superior bcz I knew him before I knew Mallika and in BTS its a simple formula of 7-1 = 0
What would you say to a beginner writer considering getting into fanfiction?
Answer- Know what your are dealing with, be confident and best of luck
I know it's a bit of an unexpected one but Would you ever stop writing?
Answer- No. Never writing is what keeps me sane so no chance for me to stop
