"So what youre saying is, that you want my daughter to play ice hockey for you're team!?"
"Oh my god mum, he's said that five times all ready!" I looked over to Coach Sampson and gave him a "I am sorry about her" look.
"It's okay kido, why dont I take your mum to my office, so we can talk about this."
I knew we could never aford it, so I didnt see the point in waisting both of their time.
"Coach, I'm sorry but I cant play ice hockey. I'm really sorry."
They both looked at me like I had just declared that I was a blue cow.
"Is she serious?" He looked at my mum.
"No. Lets go to your office and talk about this."
And with that they skated of just leaving me there. The next thing I heard woke me up from my blank state.
"HEY SHORT STUFF!!!" My best friend Alec, who insisted that I was the shortest 16 year old EVER!
He was hurtling towards me, a couple of girls who were standing behinded me started to scream, yet I held my ground knowing that Alec would stop before he could knock me over. He was getting closer and I noticed some people looking at me like I was crazy. Switching all his weight onto his back left leg and skidded to a stop spraying me with ice.
"ALEC!" This scream was because I was now covered in ice which was quickly melting, soaking through my clothes. With in seconds I was chasing him up one side of the rink, weaving in and out of people was easy for me I was much smaller than Alec and this helped as I slammed him against the barier, his face squished up against the plastic window.
"Just because I'm small doesn't mean I'm not strong!"
"Dont I know it! Now can you please let me go!"
"Now you know that I can't do that with out you saying the magic words."
"And what are the magic words today." I had to translate that because it came out more like "ndghatrefhejamicdorsfjoday?"
"Okay, the magic words today are, Ali you are the most amazing, awesome, bestest person in the world. AND a much better skater than me!" Haha I couldn't wait to hear this.
"Aliyourthemostamazingestawesomestbestestspersonintheworldandabetterskaterthanme."
But before I could finish laughing he had wiggled out of my grip and was scowling at me. That was when I heard his voice, I automatically stopped laughing and stiffened, before turning around to face the MOST arrogant person I have ever met.
"What do you want!" I didn't hold back letting all the venom I had leak out into those four words.
"You always were a man beater Ali." At this point Alec had moved to my side and was holding my arm.
"I said what do you want!" He smilled down at me, yeah did I forget to mention that Zak Warner was huge, he was just over 6' and was just a big ball of muscle that had been sclupted into what every woman in the world would describe as a God like body. Pppfffttttt was what I said, he was a d**k and I couldn't stand him.
"Nawww, come on babes you know you love to see me." I held my breath and counted to ten. "Hell will freeze over before I want to see you!"
"Aww that's my girl. Is it just me or are you getting good at skating?" Alec pushed me behind him, knowing that I was going to hit Zak if I could reach him.
"Zak, do you not remeber what happened last time you pissed her off?" Ha! Zak had commented on my out fit, I couldn't remeber exactly what he had said because I had blacked out in anger. But it was something like "wow Ali you actually look like a girl, for once."
I couldn't keep the smile of my face as I remebered the feeling of my fist colliding with his jaw.
"And we all know what you're thinking about." Alec chuckled beside me.
"Yeah, she's thinking about how close she wants to get to me." God he is so full of him self. "WRONG! I was remebering what it felt like to smack you in the face.!"
This snarky comment was acompainied by a wink and my head tipping to the right.
so this was gd to write any ideas about who should play Zak and Alec
it would be great if i could get some comments on this
