Bakugo woke up with a jolt. He looked around, seeing it was still dark out and wondering what had woken him up at such an early hour of the morning. It was colder than normal, which was odd because Bakugou usually turned the AC down before bed at night. He could remember turning it down as well, but shrugged it off as maybe someone turned it up after he went to bed.

Besides the temperature, nothing seemed out of the ordinary so Bakugo laid his head back down and closed his eyes again, only to hear what sounded like a whimper from the other side of the room. Huh? He sat up and surveyed his surroundings again, his eyes finally locking in the couch in the corner of the room.

"Icy Hot?" Bakugo whispered quietly. When he got no reply, the Pomeranian groaned and dragged himself off his bed and creeped over to the couch. "Oi! Icy Hot!" He whisper-yelled again. With closer inspection, Bakugo could now see the patches of ice covering the heterochromic boy's arms, face, and the surrounding walls and furniture.

Todoroki made a pained face in his sleep, startling Bakugou and making him flinch back a bit. He'd never seen the boy give more than a slight curved lip to show emotion, causing him to freak out.

"Oi! Wake up!" Bakugo hissed as he shook the other's shoulder lightly. "Wake the hell up before you freeze us all, idiot!"

Todoroki shot up from the couch, panting heavily as if he'd just ran a marathon. Bakugo jumped back a bit and the heterochromic boy nervously looked around the room to see any damage he had caused. When he saw it was only the wall, he sighed in relief. "S-sorry."

"What was that?" Bakugo asked with narrowed eyes. He noticed Todoroki shiver a bit from the cold, which was an unusual sight for the boy since he's pretty used to his quirk temperatures by now.

"It's nothing." Todoroki shrugged as he propped himself up in a more comfortable position, his breath evening out.

"Tsk. It can't be nothing you half and half bastard." The blond scoffed and rolled his eyes from the other's obvious fib. Todoroki may be able to lie to other people, but not him.

Bakugo glared at the boy with an intensity that made him shrink into the couch a bit, causing him to sigh and have to quickly think up an explanation he could give to not get a big reaction from the blond. "It was just a bad dream. Nothing serious." He answered calmly, his exterior looking collected again like usual.

Bakugo eyed the boy suspiciously for another few seconds, and then groaned and walked back to his bed. "Just don't wake me up again." He said before crawling under the covers and going back to sleep.

Midoriya woke up with a yawn and sat up slowly. He looked around to see Bakugou sleeping, and assumed Todoroki had already gone for breakfast. It was a Saturday, so there was no classes for the day which was a relief.

The green-haired teen hopped out of bed and stretched a bit. He went to put on some clothes, but then remembered he only had a his pajamas and new school uniform from the teachers. All of his clothes were burned in the explosion, so he'd have to buy more. Todoroki was probably experiencing the same problem, so Midoriya decided to invite him and whoever else needed clothes to go shopping later that afternoon.

Midoriya went down the stairs, skipping the last few steps as he jumped and landed at the bottom. He opened the door to the common area, seeing a few of his friends around the room, but no Todoroki. 'He's probably just busy. I'll see him later.' Midoriya shrugged as he grabbed an apple and went to sit with some of his friends on the couch.

"Morning Deku-kun!" Uraraka greeted with a big smile as she gave an enthusiastic wave.

"Morning Midoriya." Lida said with a formal head nod.

"Morning Ochako, morning Lida!" Midoriya replied with a smile as he sat down beside them and took a bite of his apple.

"We were wondering if you wanted to go shopping for new clothes later with us?" Uraraka asked happily. Midoriya then noticed the lack on common clothes on his friends. They were both wearing their uniforms instead of pajamas.

"I was just thinking that! We could invite the rest of the class too if you guys wanted." The green-haired teen suggested, to which the other's nodded in agreement.

The three messaged everyone in the dorms and invited them to go shopping together. Everyone accepted the invite except Todoroki who was still nowhere to be found. After some convincing from Kirishima, Bakugo joined the group and everyone piled downstairs in the lobby to head out.

As the group was leaving, they found Todoroki walking into the gate with a small box in his hands.

"Oh! Wanna come shopping with us, Todoroki-kun?" Midoriya asked with a smile. The heterochromic boy simply nodded and told the group he would catch up after he got ready. Izuku suddenly felt more excited to go shopping with Todoroki. He hadn't seen much of the boy's style before because he spends most of his weekends out, or in his room, so he was looking forward to learn this new side of his friend.

When the class made it to the mall, they split off into little groups and spread out into their desired stores. Midoriya ended up going with Todoroki, who didn't seem very interested in shopping for himself.

Midoriya picked some shirts and a few pairs of pants to wear, and then went to the check out. He bought everything he picked out, and noticed Todoroki looking at some clothes hanging on a rack at the other side of the small store. With further inspection, he could see the heterochromic boy looking at some hoodies and sweatpants.

Midoriya finished paying and met up with Todoroki, who had a purple and a navy blue sweater with black sweatpants in his heads. "I didn't expect you to wear sweats, Todoroki." He said with amazement.

"Oh. They're comfy." The other stated as he grabbed a white shirt off of the rack behind them and added it to his small pile of clothes. He then began walking up to the check out, and plopped his new clothes on the counter.

"You don't wear jeans? Wow. I kind of expected you would dress a lot differently Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya commented with amazement in his eyes.

Todoroki chuckled a bit a this, causing the green-haired boy's mouth to drop wide. "You just laughed!!!!" He shouted accusingly in a shocked manor, causing Todoroki to chuckle louder this time.

"You know I can laugh, right?" He asked in a joking tone, but meant it fully. He genuinely wanted to know if one of his closest friends thought he didn't have any emotion at all.

"W-well you've never laughed before, and I just didn't think you really wanted to be at UA with us and would rather train by yourself because we're all really annoying and-" Midoriya's nervous explaining was cut off by Todoroki putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Midoriya." He paused. "It may not seem this way, but I couldn't be happier here at UA. You all may be annoying, but it's a nice change from home and doesn't bother me too much. So please don't think I'm not happy with my friends." Todoroki said and gave a small smile at the end to show he wasn't angry or upset.

Midoriya's mouth fell agape as he stared at the other as if he was standing face to face with an alien. "I-I'm your friend?" He asked with watering eyes, and when Todoroki nodded, his eyes bursted like a damn as he started muttering his appreciation and happiness.

"We better get going. The other's are probably waiting for us to get lunch." Todoroki said with a bit of fondness but masked it with his usual tone and demeanour.

"Yeah, let's go." Midoriya replied with a smile. He felt relieved in a way to know that the heterochromic boy wasn't all stone-faced and seemingly disinterested with everything.

After a long day at the mall, the class of 1-A made it back to their dorms, exhausted. Kirishima had convinced everyone to race back without using their quirks, resulting in 20 panting students as they all tried to catch their breath in the lobby.

"Holy- *pant* -shit!" Kirishima said as he caught his breath. "We're never doing that again!" He yelled, a bunch of groans and mumbles of agreeance chorusing back.

"Oh come on! That was nothing! You extra's are just weak!" Bakugo shouted in triumph, but even Midoriya could tell he was a bit tired after running so far.

Some of the group plopped onto the couches and others piled out into their dorm, Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki being a part of that group.

Todoroki and Midoriya put their new clothes in the washing machine and went to shower. By the time they had both finished their showers, the clothes were clean and dry too - probably thanks to Uraraka for switching the load to the dryer.

Midoriya quickly changed and was finished before Todoroki, so he left to the kitchen to see if any food had been cooked yet. Nothing was prepared, so the green-haired teen made some ramen and went upstairs to eat in his temporary dorm.

When he got in the room, Midoriya noticed Bakugou sitting at the desk and eating some sort of sauced veggies while he scrolled through his phone.

"Hey Kacchan!" The green-haired teen greeted the other as he sat on his bed. Bakugo mumbled a 'hey' back, and that was the end of their interaction as Midoriya began devouring the bowl of instant ramen.

A few minutes later, Todoroki slowly entered the room as well, Midoriya's mouth falling open when he saw the boy. He was wearing the purple sweater and black pants that he bought earlier, and it looked really good. The sweater was a little big on him, but it looked comfortable and the colour suited him nicely.

"I like your new clothes Todoroki!" Midoriya said with a smile as he set down the empty bowl of ramen on the bedside table.

"Thanks." Todoroki awkwardly replied and sat down on the couch, looking quite stiff. It was to be expected, though. He'd never really worn such casual clothes in front of anyone. Maybe his mom sometimes when he was younger, but that was it. His father didn't let him buy that style of clothing, but he didn't care too much and wore them when he wasn't at home or out... so only in him dorm room, really.

"They look fine, but purple is a weak-ass colour." Bakugo commented from the other side of the room. He would have been confused and thought it was an insult if he didn't know the blond as well as he did, and he could tell Bakugou was trying to compliment him without seeming vulnerable.

Todoroki hummed as he pulled out his phone, seeing a few messages from his dad, but he chose to ignore them for now.

"D-did you guys wanna watch a movie with me on my laptop?" Midoriya asked his roommates suddenly, getting a 'sure' and 'fine but I'm picking the movie' for responses.

Everyone piled on the green-haired teen's bed as Bakugou scrolled through Netflix. He clicked a movie that looked a bit old, and let it play as Todoroki quickly hopped up and ran to the other side of the room. He he came back with the small box he had earlier that day and opened it to reveal a bunch of different baked goods like brownies, cookies, little cakes, and pastries.

"My mom baked these for me but I can't eat them all." He supplied and placed the box in the middle of them.

"Thanks Todoroki!" Midoriya thanked as he took a bite of one of the pastries and practically melted at the taste. "Your mom is a really great baker!" He commented, his mouth full of the delicious treat as he spoke, making his words come out muffled.

"Shut up! The movie started!" Bakugo yelled and grabbed a chocolate chip cookie from the box and shoved it in his mouth.

"Todoroki! She's kinda like you, just without the fire!" Midoriya jokingly commented, earning a cackle from Bakugou and a slight shove from Todoroki.

"Nah, Icy Hot is way better than that bitch. She almost killed her sister!" The blond replied after he finish laughing.

"She didn't mean to do it!" Midoriya shouted back, earning a light punch to the shoulder from Bakugou.

"That's just what they want nerds like you to think!" The explosive teen jabbed, though Midoriya knew it was all for fun.

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say." The green-haired boy shook his head and grabbed the last treat from the box, savouring it's sweet flavours as he chewed.

Todoroki chuckled a bit at the other's antics and continued watching the movie.

Maybe the whole roommate thing wouldn't be so bad.
