The cabin

Cheryl and Toni had spent the past few days texting each other but they hadn't met up since the day at the rock.

The redhead couldn't stop thinking about Toni kissing her and she wanted to see her but she was too anxious to make the first move.

Cheryl and Jacy had finally made up after he apologised, which they were both relieved about.

Cheryl was about to get ready for bed when her phone rang, Jacy's name was illuminating her screen.

'Hey' the redhead said as she moved the phone to her ear.

'Hey Cher, I still feel really bad about how I reacted when you got hurt. I wanted to know if you'd like to come to the cabin, a little break for us all as an apology for my behaviour' Jacy said.

'You already apologised jacy?' The redhead sighed letting the quiet settle between them before speaking again.

'Who's gonna be there and are your parents okay with it?' Cheryl asked.

'You, me, Toni, Sweet Pea and Fangs, if you want to invite Veronica and Betty that's okay too' Jacy said 'as for my parents, they won't know but don't worry about that. So you in?'.

'I'm in' Cheryl grinned, any chance she got to spend time with Toni she'd take it.

'Great, I'll text you the details' Jacy said 'bye Cher'.

'Bye Jace' Cheryl said before hanging up the phone.

The day had arrived for the group of friends to go to the cabin for the weekend, Cheryl had taken her car and Jacy had taken his.

The redhead offered to take Betty, Veronica and Toni whilst Jacy gave Sweet Pea and Fangs a ride.

Everyone was pretty excited, throughout the car ride Cheryl and Toni would make eye contact before blushing and looking away.

When they arrived at the cabin it was just as Cheryl remembered it as a child.

They piled out of the cars each of them grabbing their bags before following Jacy inside.

'Wow how have we never been invited here before?'
Fangs said playfully pushing his younger cousin.

'Pretty awesome right?' Jacy said getting his balance back.

'Sure is!' everyone said in unison.

'Right girls down that hall to your right there's two bedrooms sorry you have to pair up and you two' he said now looking at Sweet Pea and Fangs 'down the hall on the left you can share my mom and dads room.'

'Do you mind' Toni said standing at the closet door.

'What do you mean Toni?' Cheryl asked looking confused.

'Sharing a room with me? I can sleep on the floor?
Or make some excuse to sleep on the couch, if you're not comfortable with this'.

Cheryl felt her heart swell a little Toni was so kind and thoughtful, she appreciated the fact that if this was too much for the redhead that she would go out of her way to make her more comfortable.

'I'm comfortable with it Toni' Cheryl nodded.

'Okay erm... good. Which side do you want?' Toni asked looking at the bed.

'Right is fine thank you' Cheryl smiled.

'Okay awesome left side it is' Toni said making her way to the left side of the double bed.
