"Once on Earth, they were raised by humans. Kal-El became Clarke Kent, raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Kara Zor'el became Kara Danvers, raised by Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers. They grew up as normal humans, wearing lead glasses to help keep their powers undercontrol while they learned to control them, until it eventually became their way to hide in everyday life. They went to college, Clarke going to work for the Daily Planet and Kara working for Catco World-Wide Media. They both eventually realized that they can do a lot more then work a simple 9-5, taking their glasses off and suiting up to save the world."
