Mom came back late last night from her business trip saying she's going to be home for a week. Dad informed us that he had a sudden trip to somewhere with some business partners and that he won't be home for about a month or just a few weeks.

Jake spent the whole day cleaning the house until it was spotless.

I spent the day in my room comforting by traumatized dog.

Its time for school so I wake up early to get ready, don't want to be late on my first day even though the school is just two blocks away.

I grab clean towels and take a quick shower. Dress in my uniform and look myself in the mirror.

"You look awfully depressed, what's with this uniform? It feels disgusting against my skin." I place my hair over my face so it covers my eyes. Shake it so it has a messy look to it.

I look at my all Grey uniform. They could have at least let us wear black pants.

A knock come from my room door and mom pops her head in.

She's about to treat me like a baby.

"Ooh, my baby you look so adorable." She steps infront of me fixing my tie.

I smile awkwardly but say nothing.

She pinches my cheeks with both her hands and smiles at me.

"Your really handsome, just like your father." That's a lie, I look nothing like my father.

"You should cut your hair, it's growing too long. Your beautiful eyes are being masked away by it." That's what I want.

"It's fine like this." I say removing her hands from my cheeks as it's starting to hurt.

"Whatever you say dear, breakfast is ready I made pancakes and eggs." She says walking out.

I follow soon after her, and make my way downstairs. I'm thinking if this is a good idea letting me go to a real school after I've been homeshooled for a really long time. The anxiety is kicking really high.

Jake comes down stairs kiss mom on the cheeks and join us. I finish my plate and place it in the sink, I was about to clean it when mom stops me.

"It's okay, I'll get it. You can leave for school now. Have a great day." She pats my back with a smile.

"Bye." Jake says smiling at her and I just waved.

We walked, and Jake didn't say a word to me. Halfway on our way to school which is a ten minutes walk. He stops, and turns towards me.

"Don't be weird okay, make friends." Is all he says with a straight face, and walk on without me. When we arrive Jake disappears without giving me directions to the office.

"Guess I'll have to find it myself." I say entering the school hallways.

It wasn't that hard to find.

I enter the office to find a lady sitting at the reception. She looks up at me then smiles. "Oh, hi." She greets

"Hi." I greet back stepping closer

"You must be the new kid, Cole Grayson Walters." She hads me a folder.

"There's some forms you need to fill in when you're done I'll give you a schedule for your classes." She smiles and goes back to whatever she was doing. I do as she says and hand it back to her. Receiving my schedule I look through it.

"The principle isn't in today to give you a welcome, so enjoy your day." She smiles and I say a thanks and walk out.

Okay, seems like most of my classes is in the left department of this school. It wasnt that hard finding my first class which is Arts. I make my way in, and it looks like it already started.
