I'm a college student at Michigan State and I just turned 21. It's like I was waiting to turn 21 for the longest, but now that I am, it just feels like another day really. I live on campus and I have a small circle of friends. Today is a Friday in April so the weather warmed back up, which only means it'll be warm enough to go to parties again. I hate the winter so I usually watch Disney+ with snacks and stay inside.
The closest friends I have in my circle are Chloe and Zaria. The 3 of us are sitting in the school cafe eating and chatting like we always do.
Zaria: "So what's our plan for today? Party night?"
Y/N: "I mean it's finally warm outside, we might as well. I don't know about any parties going on though"
Chloe clears her throat.
"Wellllll I did hear of a party being thrown off campus. You know the football guy Berlin? He's supposed to be throwing one at his dad's condo off camp. I'll airdrop the flyer to y'all"
A few seconds later, we both get the flyer.
Looks live.
I chime in again.
"Alright, let's do it. Flyer says it starts at 11. 'Free liquor and wings. Admission free, just shake that ass with a friend'. Oop😂"
We all laugh and go our separate ways to shower, rest a bit, then get ready for the party.
9:30pm
I just woke up from a nap and I check my phone. I got a text from Zaria and Chloe in our group chat.
Chloe "Idk what to wear dammit"
Zaria "It's warm again so you can wear the crop top you just got from Shein and your gray bike shorts🙂"
Chloe "With the Jordans? Great idea THANKS. What are you wearing"
Zaria "Gotta wear the bodysuit and my Jean shorts. Simple but cute, I don't wanna kill em that much🤫😂. What are you wearing Y/N?"
That was 10 minutes ago so I just reply "I'm not sure. I'm looking in my closet now"
I get up, take my shower, and put on some 2000s music. First song was I Luv It by Icona Pop.
Hmmm what to wear. I ultimately decided to wear this.

After I'm dressed and put on my lashes, I put on my jewelry and I texted the girls that I'm ready. By this time it's 10:53, we don't plan to arrive til 11:30ish.
Zaria "Come to my place y'all were pregaming. I got New Amsterdam and Blue Bacardi."
Me and Chloe like the message and I start walking over. Whenever we go out, we switch out who would be the designated driver for the night. Tonight, Chloe's driving.
I get there before Chloe and I come in. Zaria got Ari Lennox blasting and she's high sitting on the couch. She looks cute tho.
Zaria: "HEY GIRL YOU LOOK GOOD AF" She screams as soon as she sees me.
We give each other a big hug and we start complimenting each other nonstop, but it's justified. We both looked great in our own ways.
We pour up and take a Bacardi shot straight, at the same time. Disgusting as always. Soon after, Chloe comes in.
Wow Chloe looked.......different. Like her entire look was just different, but a good different. She usually wears unique clothing like the back of her shirts would be longer than the front, or she'll wear different color eyeshadow. But tonight, she looked simple, very chill.
We hype her up too, Chloe pours a shot of the new Amsterdam and drinks it. We all then talk about the house party and hoping we find guys we could take home for the night. It's a Friday, we're looking good, and we just wanna have a good time.
Around this time, it's 11:20. Me and Zaria took a lot of shots, while Chloe took a few and smoked since she's driving. We head to her car and make our way there.
