We pulled up to house and we all got out and went inside the house. I went to my room to change into my workout stuff. Just some shorts, a T, and some basketball shoes. After I was changed I checked my phone for messages. One from Lathan and that was basically it. He had put "Bby you done yet???" I smiled at his cuteness and replied back with "No Bae I just got home and changed. I'm bout to start rn then I'll call you." I turned my phone off, grabbing my basketball, then walked out of my room. I headed to the backyard just to get some shots up before we start the session. I was shooting around making sure my form was on point. My left hard straight with my thumb facing the sky, my right hand wrist was flexed. "How's Loverboy?" Mikey asked appearing from behind the hoop. Wtf dis nigga thank dis is I'll will slap tf outta him not on accident. I laughed shooting anotha shot. "He's coo, why?" I asked getting my rebound. "Just asking." Mikey said rolling his eyes. "Mhm." I hummed hitting a step back. "Yall seem hella close." He remarked putting the ball under his arm. "Dats cuz we are." I said in a duh voice.. "uh uh lil girl don't get smart with me." He said mugging me. "Well stop asking dumb questions den and I won't say smart shit." I said rolling my eyes. "I'm telling you there's something off about him. I don't want him getting you unfocused, especially when the seasons about to start up. And you have to be rockin and rollin for the next tournament." He sighed. "Bro Mikey, I told you, the gang, and Bron dats he's NOT a distraction." I said brarely yelling. "Lower yo voice when you talkin to me. I was just sayin." He said pointing at me. I ignored him and shot my next shot. "You aggravating ash ongg." I said holding my form then getting my rebound. "Look I'm just sayin dat nigga do shit that I don't want you involved wit. It could ruin your career and possible harm you." There he goes ranting over dumb shit. Lathan would never let anything happen to me no matter what. "He cares about me Mikey whether you like it or not. And if you can't deal with it, that I've been liking him since grade school then I don't know what to tell you."  I said shrugging. "I didn't know that." Mikey said about shoot but then stops and looks over at me. "Yea I've had a big crush on for the longest. Did you know that he got me to sing again?" I said getting my rebound again. "For real?" He asked shocked. "Yes we're putting on a show for all of the grades soon." I said positioning myself to shoot from another area. "Damn that's wassup." He said getting quite. Yea you didn't my baby cared for me like dat huh? Yo faultttt. "Buh uh where Bron at?" I asked. We've been waiting on his ahh for a little while naw. "Speaking of him he just texted me saying that he can't make it for the workout cuz he got something he gotta do." Mikey replied. "Oh well Ima finna take my ahh back inside then." I said grabbing my water heading to the door.  "You don't wanna shoot with me some more?" Mikey asked acting hurt. "No I rather call my big baby." I said smiling before going back inside. I closed the door behind me and saw Sharife and em staring back at me. "Damn can I have my face back?" I asked laughing nervously. They rolled their eyes going back to what they were doing. I walked back to my room and closed my door. I grabbed my phone from off the charger and facetimed Lathan. He picks on the first ring. "HELLO." He says excited. "Yes my baby." I said smiling proping my camera up taking my shorts off changing into sweats. "I missed you so much bae." He said whining. "Ik baby I wasn't gone that long tho." I said giggling. "I love your voice baby when you coming back to meeee?"  He asks making a cute face I can't deny. "After school tmr if it's cool with you bae?" I said chessing. "If it's ok with me baby OFCCC." He said yelling the last part. "Ok then ill pack my stuff before I go to sleep." I said checking the time. It's only 6:30. I took my shirt off leaving me in a sports bra. "Ouuuu I like datttt right derrrrr." Lathan said taking a pic. "Lathan." I said covering up. "Whaaa." He said smiling. "Stawwwpp." I said putting a shirt on. "But it's sexxyyyy ashhhh." He whined. I blushed laying back down. "I'm coldddd." I whined covering up in my blanket. "Come lay wit me den." He said smiling. "Tmr baby." I said closing my eyes. "Bae I wanna match again." He said showing me an outfit. "Baby open yo eyes real quick." He wit his baby eyes. I whined then opened them looking at the Camera. "Ouuu I like dat bae." I said then closed my eyes again. "I gotchu dis at the mall after school today." He said as I opened my eyes again. "Aww baby Ima pay you back tmr." I said turning around. "Nope I ain't takin it." He said shaking his head. "Ima drop dis at yo house in the morning bae." He said sitting it down. "Okkk." I closing my eyes. "Look at my baby ... So beautiful." He mumbled staring at me. "Ima let you get some rest so you'll be ready in the morning." He said picking up the phone. "You betta not hang up on me Lathan." I said opening my eyes. "Ok ok bae." He said laughing putting his phone back down. I giggled then closed my eyes again and drifted off to sleep ..
