hope, lizzie, cleo, josie, finch, mg, kaleb, jed, and landon are all sitting in the main room of the salvatore school. its late at night, and it's been a quiet day, which is extremely unusual for them, but they've decided to take advantage of the quietness, and just be with each other. all the chaos that has gone on lately has really made them appreciate having one another.

"it's so crazy that it's been so quiet today," mg said.

everyone immediately starts yelling at him after he finishes that sentence.

"mg! why would you say the q word?!" finch said.

"quiet?" mg asked.

everyone groans and starts yelling once again.

"now since you said that, it's going to be the most chaotic night we've ever had, so nice job," kaleb said.

not even five seconds after kaleb finished his sentence, a loud thump on the front door shook the entire school.

everyone exchanges confused glances for a few moments, and hope finally speaks.

"i'll go check it out. you all stay here."

hope walks up to the door, and opens it to a woman she doesn't recognize standing in front of her.

"hope mikaelson," the woman says, with a very strong british accent.

"how do you know my name?"

"miss mikaelson, i'm afraid i have some news for you that you may not particularly like."

"you didn't answer my question," hope says. she's confused, but like always, she still remains confident.

"malivore has risen again, and he is coming to terrorize this world once more. you need to stop him at once, this is a very urgent matter. i need you to activate your vampire side."

hope stares at her, even more confused than she was a few moments ago.

"no, that doesn't need to happen, my friends and i will come up with a way to stop him ourselves."

"i'm afraid that any sort of plan that your friends come up with will not work. we need the full tribrid to stop him immediately."

a few moments pass, everyone is silent, too stunned to speak. the woman finally speaks again.

"miss mikaelson, i hate to threaten you, but as i said, this matter is urgent. if you do not activate your vampire side by midnight, i will kill the person you love most."

the woman says a spell and disappears, leaving hope standing at the door in shock.

landon walks up to her.

"hope, this doesn't have to happen. we'll find a way. we'll stop this. we'll stop both her and malivore." he turns around and looks at everyone, they all nod in agreement.

"together," lizzie says.

a little while passes, it's a quarter to midnight. the team has successfully come up with a plan for what to do at midnight, when the woman comes back.

"so, i'll just to go over it one more time, to make sure everyone understands perfectly," hope says.

"i'll go out first, as she's expecting me anyway. jed and finch, you'll be in your wolf forms waiting to attack. kaleb and mg, we'll use your vampire speed to our advantage to sneak up on her and get the jump on her. lizzie, cleo and josie, you'll be waiting to perform immobilization spells, and landon will be spelled in my room, so the woman can't get to him. everyone got it?"
