*****************

It was his alarm clock that woke Type up on Monday morning. He had his head in the gas and wanted to stay in bed for a few more hours, if not forever. However, he couldn't afford to miss any more classes.

He took a shower to try to wake up and improve the condition of his face. As he walked past the mirror, he noticed his red eyes and dark circles under them. Although he had spent the weekend in bed, he hadn't really slept and when he did fall asleep it was only to have nightmares.

Type arrived just in time for class, he was happy to have the speciality class, he wouldn't see Techno immediately. He could manage to fool his other friends, but Techno knew him well, he was one of his best friends, even if he didn't know him as... Tharn. It was really not the time to think about him, he was in class, he couldn't have another crying fit.

"Hey, I was waving at you, but you didn't see me, I think. Are you all right?" Type turned his head towards the source of the voice, only to discover Champ sitting next to him.

"You didn't answer your phone this weekend. The weather was nice, we went to play a game with the others. I knocked on your door, but you didn't answer either," Champ continued.

Type vaguely remembered hearing his phone ringing, but he didn't remember anyone knocking at the door. He must have been in the laundry room or just too much on his mind.

"Sick," Type simply replied. He didn't trust his voice to make a complete sentence.

"Oh, so much the better... Well, not so much the better, you really don't look good, you have these dark circles. But I'm a little relieved, I thought you were avoiding me because it didn't work with Puifai. Besides, I didn't really understand her explanations about why the rendezvous didn't go well.

Puifai? Type had completely forgotten her. His mind was so obsessed with another person that he had completely forgotten about the girl he had planted when he told her about his attraction to guys. Type didn't really know what to say, he had ditched his friend's friend for someone he had already lost.

"Champ, do you still want to change rooms? »

"Hm? You had a fight with your roommate while you were sick? Yet, the last time you were sick, he took good care of you"" Champ reflected. Everything seemed to be going well between the two roommates these days.

Type, he received the words in his heart. The last time he was ill announced the beginning of his more or less friendly relationship with Tharn. This time, it announced the end, the end of any relationship with Tharn. He would have so much preferred to utter this sentence because they had had an argument, not because his roommate was simply no longer there.

"No, he's gone. The curfew didn't suit him any Orere, Type knew that Tharn hadn't left for that, but he couldn't say the real reason. He couldn't say it was his fault. But maybe it was really because of the curfew and not because of him, after all. Tharn had been coming home late lately, when he came home. Type surely wasn't relevant enough in Tharn's life for him to choose where to live according to him. Tears almost passed the barrier of his eyes, but he pulled himself together at the last moment, he couldn't break down in front of anyone.

"Oh yes, I do. My roommate just thinks about working all the time. He leaves the light on until late to study, it keeps me awake.

"We'll go and see the reception after class then", with these words the two friends decided to finally take the courses. They had been lucky; the teacher hadn't noticed them.
