A Spreading Fire's Tale: PT 2

        I quietly laid there in the dark, humming while Kills dozed off on my chest. I could hear Blueberry singing a song in a terrible key downstairs while Papyrus died of laughter. The snow fell quietly outside and our souls were softly resting together, the warmth mixing. I stopped humming, distracted from overthinking and she looked up at me.

"Love? what's wrong?" She tilted her head slightly.

"I'm just thinking" I smiled and she returned it.

"Thinking about what?" She grinned.

"Mostly you" I smiled more as she blushed and almost hid from me in my sweater.

"Killerrrr stoppppp" She grumbled, obviously slightly flustered.

"Neverrrr my dear" I whispered softly and kissed her forehead. 

She hid and pretended to grumble but peeked up at me with a smile. 

"I love you" I whispered softly, looking into her eyes.

"I love you too" She replied brightly, blushing softly.

I smiled and softly kissed her, laying my head back on the pillow and feeling her nuzzle against my chest. I sighed contently and began dozing off, still listening to Blueberry's terrible singing and letting Kills soul's warmth against mine.
