An elderly man, a wizard, with crimson robes and a long silvery white beard walked out of a forest near the privet drive, past a tabby cat standing next to what looks like a shed. He took out his what looked like a lighter and activated it. He zapped all the light out of the lampposts. He put away the device and the cat meowed. He looked down at the cat.

"I should have known that you would be here...Professor McGonagall" said the Man.

The cat silently looked at him, and the man turned towards a wall. The cat's shadow turned into a woman with a tall hat. There were footsteps and the woman was revealed.

"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumors true, Albus" asked McGonagall

"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good, and the bad" replied Dumbledore.

"And the children" asked McGonagall.

"Hagrid is bringing them" explained Dumbledore.

"Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this" asked McGonagall.

"Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life".

There was a motor sound, and the two professors looked up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skidded on the street to a halt. A large man with shoulder length black hair and beard, named Rubeus Hagrid took off his goggles.

"Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall" acknowledged Hagrid.

"No problems, I trust, Hagrid" asked Dumbledore.

"No, sir. Little tykes fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake him. There you go" said Hagrid.

Hagrid handed one of the four babies wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore.

"Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving him, without his siblings, with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are..." McGonagall started.

"The only family he has" Dumbledore interrupted.

They stopped outside a house which was 4 Privet Drive.

"This boy will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know his name" said McGonagall.

"Exactly. He's better off growing up away from all that. Until he is ready" said Dumbledore.

Dumbledore placed the baby on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffed, he was sobbing a little. He cleared his throat.

"There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all, and you'll take good care of Henry" advised Dumbledore.

Hagrid nodded. Dumbledore took a letter and placed it on the baby, who was now at the foot of the door.

"Good luck...Harry Potter".

The Dursleys weren't nice people, they made Harry a bedroom in a cupboard under the stairs, which was dark, full of spiders and dust.
Harry longed for the day he could leave home.
