CHAPTER 2: First Assassination Mission (Hayley's POV) By lilya159 and Farah H.

Dead! DEAD! A voice inside my head screamed.

I twisted and turned on the little space of the train seat. My eyes were opening and closing repeatedly, and my head was shaking with pain. Then as if there was a brick knocking on my head, my head felt light. Air was thinning, and every breath was harder for me to breathe. Everything in my vision blurred, and my focus worsened.

Lights. All I could see were lights. Thousands of bright, colorful lights flashed through my mind. I held my head with my cold hand. I was competing for air now, and I staggered out of the seat onto the wooden floor.

Ahh! What's happening to me? I mentally screamed. I felt my last breath of air leave my lungs and then I drifted into unconsciousness.

My mind drifted away, and a faded image replayed in my memory. The dead had returned to haunt my soul. They were coming for me now.

“Welcome to Hell,” came a  scratchy voice from inside my mind. It was a unison of two voices I still remembered. The voices of my victims, or should I say, my very first victims.

I’m thirteen again, and I’m back to the day of my first mission. An Assassin mission.

Take a deep breath; take a deep breath calming myself. I was getting too excited. Today would be the day that I would kill my first victim! Today would be my first time to prove myself to the Commander.

My prep group quickly dressed me into a tight cat-suit that concealed my secret weapons. Over the cat-suit, they tucked me into a shiny black trench coat. I was tall for a thirteen year old, so with all of the makeup and fashion, I looked about 18. I had to make my Commander proud. I needed this, I needed to be in the organization.

Time ticked by, and I sat silently in the black Cadillac. Night had fallen, and this was my time to do the mission. The Commander handed me a file of a person named Alexander Campbell, with all of his personal information.

“Remember, Hayley, what I trained you for. This is not a game, this is real. I want no evidence, you heard me? And I want this clean. Kill the man, and make sure that there are no witnesses.”

     “Yes sir.” I replied.

“This man you are about to kill is highly dangerous…” like I didn’t already know that.

“…and you are to wait outside of the bar that he's in right now. Wait until they comes out. Stay hidden. I don’t want him to see you, not yet. The last time we saw him, he was dressed in a trench coat. I don’t want it to take to long. You heard me. I want this to be done and over.”

    “OK, I will.”

“When you’re done with the man, wait until we arrive. Don’t go anywhere else, unless we give you permission to do so. Until then, you are to clean the mess. If you pass, and kill the man, you are welcome to join the organization. If you fail this test, then I’m very sorry, Hayley.”
