Chapter 18

Austin's condition progressed quite a bit over the last month but in that time , quite a bit of drama went down with Amanda, she could not deal with the fact that she had lost Austin , now living with me makes me feel much better , knowing that Austin is right there with me .

I rush down stairs after getting ready , grabbing my phone , I make it to the door only to be interrupted by a loud voice.
"And where do you think you're going to little missy ?" Austin says standing behind me with crossed arms .

I kneel down to his level and reply . "You little creeper ! Were you spying on me ?' I ask as I mess around with his hair .

He shakes his head and pulls me into a tight hug .
"I love you Sam , promise me that you'll never leave me again ?"

" Austin James Miller Jones , I promise to thy honest soul that I shant leave you alone ." I say planting a kiss on his small still bruised forehead .
" Now I've got to go , everyone's waiting for me rest well ok? Love you Austi!"

I jumped into my car and drove to a nearby cafe that Rachel's parents own .

I walked into the cafe and headed to the table where everyone was sitting.

"What held you up , sweety ?" Dylan asked , concerned . He pulled me onto his lap and planted a soft peck on my cold cheeks .

"Nothing really , it just takes time to get to perfection . " I said smirking as everyone laughed .

Rachel came to the table and dropped a huge tray onto it. "Well I hope everyone likes red velvet and cream cheese cake ? "

Jack being the blonde the that he is asked ," What the hell Rach , cheese and cake ? How does that even work ?"

"Really Jacky, cream cheese is not just to eat with savories , it's for sweet stuff too ." Lavyy said shaking her head at Jack's question.

"Awww , that British accent and you're a nerdy theories are just super cute , besides the fact that it reminds me of James's brainiack ways ." Jack said as he crouched his nose .

"Wow bro , that's a real sweet thing to say about your handsome and delightful brother who doesn't deserve any scolding !" James said while holding the tips of his collar and fixing his glasses .

"Wow , I just love you guys !" I blurted out as I chuckle .

Seeing that Lavyy and Jack couldn't stop making out , Rachel adds , " Sorry to interrupt your little make out session , but I'm gonna have to ask you to step away from the dork , Miss Bernadette . "

"But Rach , you know I can't!" said Lavyy with a puppy dog expression on her face .

"All this patience is killing me, please tell us where we're going ! C'mon Dylan!" I said pulling his name .

"Stop , trust me it's going to be worth the wait , so stop worrying . " he said before shoving a big piece of cake into my mouth.

After leaving the cafe the guys decided to blindfold us ."Now don't peak !" Jack said while pulling Lavyy into the car as we follow .

"I hope you're not selling us to some mafiass who are gpi9to make us work as domestic workers somewhere in Mexico !" daisy says with a rather bored voice .

"Oh shove dais !"

We had finally reached our destination and the guys took the blindfolds off.

The bright rays coming from the far Sun , shined on us and wind on top of The hill gave a refreshing feeling , the view of the ocean was just amazing and today was going to be great ! The feeling of freedom snapped into my body seeing as I'm on top of The world .

"Wow , it's beautiful and definitely worth the wait ." Lavyy said as she hugged Jack tightly and Sat on their blanket staring into the beautiful view on top of the hill.

"It is amazing , but also way too romantic for Daisy and I." Rachel said before digging into the picnic basket beside her. "What ? I'm starving ok?" she said as she continued chewing on the snacks .

"I really like it here Dyl , wana go for a walk ?" I said , gripping onto Dylan's hand and leading him towards the forestlike area .

Holding my hand gently, Dylan tugged onto it and pulled me towards him.
"Thanks for being the best girlfriend ever . "

"No , thank you for being with me and despite all of my problems you're still there for me , giving me support ."
I said watching as he came closer and kissed my forehead.

"Don't mention it ." He whispered pulling me into a tight hug .

The soft grass beneath us made a comfortable blanket on which Dylan and I ended lying on for the next few hours . The peaceful sound of the chirping and laughs that came from Jack a few meters away made me laugh , Dylan on the other hand looked as if she wasn't happy at all to be here with me or anyone else until his phone rang .

He went slowly down the hill so that o didn't hear what he had to say bit u still heard a bit of his conversation.

"Listen Vanessa , I told you that we're through ! I told you almost 2 years ago but you still keep calling me , why ?" he said

Why was he speaking to her like that ? I think she's he's ex girlfriend but why would they still have contact with each other ? Am I just being a jealous girlfriend or do I have the right to be curious ?

"Listen , Vanessa I've moved on and I have a girlfriend and it a time you do that too " he said before hanging up and coming back to our spot .

"So , who was that ?" I blurted out without realising it .

"Uhmm that was just an old friend ." he said but the moment he said 'old friend ' I knew that wasn't the truth. But I didn't want to spoil the mood or this romantic night , so I dropped the subject and life went on .
