While I’m not a Jarida fan, I respect them because they never got into a fight with other fans. Unlike Jelsa fans, they never steal other people’s artwork. Then again, Merida and Rapunzel don’t look alike so they can’t recolor Rapunzel’s hair red and change her into Merida.
The funny thing is, I don’t see Jackunzel fans and Jarida fans fight but that’s because Merida and Rapunzel are both part of the Big Four. Jarida fans never caused a war and while their fanbase is small, they respect other ships. Merida isn’t a romantic type and I don’t think that she’ll fall for Jack’s good looks. Jack and Merida wouldn’t work as a couple, I see them as friends. They’re gonna argue a lot and play pranks on each other. Merida is a no man woman like Elsa and I don’t ship her with anybody —not even Hiccup. I’m not saying that Merida can’t have a love interest, but does she need one?
