Athena POV

The rest of the day went by okay. I stayed quiet for most of it. When Archer called named in the meeting I jumped, he was not happy. He apologized for me looking like shit and how embarrassed he was of me. I turned red and tried not to cry. I saw Eli in the meeting he gave me a side smile.

When the meeting was over Eli came up to me and said it's okay and he gave me his number. I smiled and thanked him. I guess archer was watching up because he yelled at me to come into his office. I bid goodbye to Eli and left.  With my head down I walked into Archers office and took a seat. He was behind his desk looking out the window.

He sighed "Athena what did I say about being a slut" he slowly turned and looked at me with his arms a crossed,  I was shaking

"Remember highschool, I bet Ben took what was mine didn't he, yeah look at you still the same little slut you've always been" He walked over to in front of me now

"Mr.Castillo he Ben he I we never I'm still a" I stuttered out

"Athena stop pushing my buttons" I had no idea what he meant I just stayed quiet

"Remember your sweet daddy" he said almost knowing how I loathed him, I just nodded in response

"Well daddy got himself into a drug and gambling debit with yours truly" he smirked at he

I had no idea where he was going with this

"Sorry Mr. Castillo I have no idea what's going on" I was so scared and lost

"Well it's a good thing you as Athena. Because it time for a pay up." He said smiling

"Your daddy owes me a lot of money, I would say about 750,000 dollars and I want it by the end of this month" he said As a matter of factly

"What-t does this have to with me" i said quietly

"I am so glad you asked that Athena, your daddy said that I can either get the money from you, because your his daughter and you need to help your family or I can have your hand in marriage" he gave one sinister smile

"I what I no I no, that's my dad not me" I couldn't process what was going on

"If you can't pay up then your marrying Athena. That was the deal your father said" he said now leaving on his desk

I stood up angrily "you will not touch me ever, that is my fathers problem. I will not be apart of this and I quit" I said looking at him I was mad how could my father do this to me how could he

I looked at Archer challenging him, he just looked at me with a weird expression. I go to leave but then next thing I know a hand was around my neck and I was slammed against the desk hard. My back was across the top, well my legs were hanging down well Archer  towered over me looking  livid

"I will make my self clear and only once I will do this don't ever back talk me or I won't be so nice next one to you" he said coming closer to me he squeezing my neck harder, to the point where I thought I was gonna pass out

"You have till then end of the month to get my money or you will marry me, understand Athena" he said

I nodded quickly

"Words Athena words" he whispered

"Y-yess" I chocked out

"Good, so I'll see you soon with the money, enjoy the rest of your day Ms. Rogers" he let me go and went back to his desk

I quickly got out and ran outside with my bag. I couldn't comprehend have the bell happened my mind was racing and I was crying. I walked home witch was about a 3 hours walk. I tried to clear my mind but it was to hard to comprehend.

I wish my mom was still here. I wish I had someone to talk to, I just need someone. Then I remember I have Eli's number. I called nervously.

"Hey Eli its Athena, are you free right now to coffee I know it's late and on a Friday but I would really like to out with someone, and just talk if you don't mind" I kinda rushed out over the phone

"Yeah for sure Athena, my you must have a lot on your mind, in that case actually me and my friends are going clubbing if you would like to come I can pick you at 9:30" he asked

"Sure why not, I'll see you then Eli, thanks a lot." I smiled

"See you soon Athena" then hung up

I had never been clubbing I have always been busy doing something or trying to get money to stay alive I have no time for all that. But tonight why not have some fun 24.

I soon get home around 7:30 and I take a shower and start to get ready, I wear my black dress that I bought back in high school but never wore because I was to tight. But every girl has that little black dress. And I wore some heels that my neighbour gave to me, weirdly they were like 7 inches, but fit me, all her other clothes were to big but I have always to managed to get the to fit me.

I get ready and add a bit of make up, the. I let my hair out it was a curly mess, but I managed to make it look decent. It was now about 9:20. I get my stuff and wait outside for Eli.

A few minutes later a car pulls up and the window rolls down, a very handsome Eli is to been seen.

"Wow Athena you look amazing! Come let's go" he says with a cute smile

I hope him and thanked him, he told me we were going to a club called 21 shots, we parked the car and head in. The music was loud and the lights were crazy.

"I'll grab us some drink I'll be back" Eli said

I waited there looking around, it seemed amazing in here. I wished I had don't this sooner in my life. Eli then comes back with drinks and hand me 3 shots and two drink I chug them, I had never had drink before but tonight nothing matter not me not my life not anything.

Eli smiled at me and I smile back freeing the drinks in me, I grab him and head towards the dance floor we start dancing. We move to the beat, he pulls me on close and I put my hands around him. We move, then Eli tell me he's going to get more drinks. I smile and nod. Leaving me on the dance floor I dance by myself, soon I feel a pair on hands on me I dance thing it's Eli. But soon I am spun around forcefully. A hand grabbed my face and I was met with the pair of Smokey grey eyes that have haunted me my entire life.
