Chapter 4- Finding Jobs.

I woke up feeling groggy and tired due to lack of sleep. I soon remembered I had someone sleeping in my guest room. I slipped out of bed and put my slippers on, I walked down the hall and knocked on hunters door briskly. I hoped he wasn't asleep.

He didn't reply straight away. After a minute or so of standing outside his door stupidly, I turned the door knob and made my way inside. Hunter was sprawled out on the bed with one leg in and one leg out of the duvet.

My eyes widened once I realised he didn't have a top on. I couldn't help but look at his perfectly sculptured abs and notice how peaceful he looked asleep. His hair was tousled and his mouth was slightly pouted in his sleep.

I made my way up to him and lightly shook his body. He needed to wake up now, I felt guilty for waking him up especially as he looked so comfortable in that bed, but there was important things to do and discuss.

"Hunter, wake up." I whispered Why was I whispering? I was supposed to be him waking him up and whispering wasnt going to help at all

"Hunter!" I screamed in his ear once I had enough of watching him sleep.

His body suddenly shot up and he face planted the floor with a loud groan.

"Ouch!" He yelled. His voice was muffled by the floor. I instantly began to giggle, I tried to stifle the laughter bubbling inside by closing my mouth tightly, but the laughter somehow opened my mouth with a pop before I burst into a fit of giggles.

"You should have seen you face!" I giggled and squealed loudly.

"It's not funny, that scared me!" Hunter huffed while putting a hand to his heart. I giggled some more before taking a deep breath and calming myself down.

That was enough entertainment for the morning. I should do this more often, I'd have to take a mental note of that.

"Sorry about that, you're a deep sleeper." I stated.

"Well, you would be too if you hadn't slept properly in a while." Hunter grumbled. My smile slipt from my face and I immediately felt guilty

"I would have let you slept in," I stated guiltly, "but I needed you awake as we had important things to discuss." I explained.

"I understand. What did you want to talk about?" He asked while sitting on the end of his bed.

My eyes averted to his abs once again. I always had a thing for muscle definition, it was just so sexy. I loved his washboard body which was tanned and strong. It was just too hot to expain. I didn't want to look, and I didn't want to think like this but I just couldn't help it. He was too irresistible.

Stop it Ava, you can't think like that.

Oh, come on. What's the harm in looking?

"Well, I wanted to see how everything was for you," man, I felt like I was the manager of a hotel. "and I also wanted to tell you that one of my best friends works in a restaraunt and they needed more staff. I was just telling you that if you wanted the job I'll go now to see if there is a free space for you?" I asked, hoping he'd say yes.

I had thought of this while I was thinking last night. I had hardly gotten any sleep, but I thought I'd come up with a really good idea.

Kayla worked at a restaurant to earn some money when needed, I remembered her telling me that she had to work more hours as they were low on staff waiters. This was perfect, I thought. I could try and apply Hunter for the job, if he wanted it of course. I hoped they'd let him work there.
