Chapter 6

Two weeks later:

Stefania Pov:

It's been two weeks since I started working in station 19. I must admit it has been kind of crazy, I feel like I've really gotten to know these people, to consider them like a family. They've accepted me into their family with open arms and I can't be more grateful.

We have already finished filming 3 episodes, in these episodes, Maya and Carinas relationship has definitely progressed a lot quicker than we anticipated. Our relationship has progressed as well, Danielle has become a great friend,  she understands me in ways that no one else does. It's like I've known her my whole life, I don't even remember what it was like when she was not in it.

While I'm in the car driving towards the set, I can't help but think about episode 8, it was the most emotional one we had done so far. She was sitting down in the bed, crying. I had never really seen her cry. She is always so bubbly, she smiles at life in a way that had never seen before. So, seeing her like that, so sad and vulnerable, it really hurt, even if it was all an act. I just wanted to hold her close. So, I hugged her and kissed her, as if I could just kiss her pain away.... As Carina, of course...that seems like a thing Carina would do.

Apparently, the word was out on how well we worked together so our directors started to give us more and more room to be creative and affectionate without having to stick to the script. I can't be happier about that cause I love improvising but, I can see that it is a little bit harder for Danielle. She can be very uptight, specially when it comes to her work so, as expected, I tease her a little to try and bring out the relaxed and fun version of Danielle that I have grown to love (as friends, of course).

I arrive to the studio and I'm greeted by a Danielle smiling and jumping as I approach to give her a hug. She has two coffees in her hand which she almost spills. She. Bought. Me. Coffee.

"Hi Bella" she says as we hug.

"Hello beautiful" I say smiling. How on earth does she manage to make me smile so easily?

"Here you go, double expresso" she says.

"Ugh I love you so much" I say, looking at the coffee grabbing it and taking a big sip. "You are cool too, Danielle, don't worry." I say patting her in the back mockingly.

"You are terrible" she says hitting my arm gently, acting shocked.

"You are just saying that because you are jealous of the amazing love story between me and this delicious coffee."

"Am I that obvious?" She says, turning her head a little, looking at me playfully with her beautiful blue eyes. She bites her lip a little which makes me feel something weird in my stomach. It feels nice.

"Oh totally." I say smiling. I look at her eyes and then her lips until we both look away and start walking towards the set.

Our only scene together is in maya's bedroom, trying to give her strength to go to work after her meltdown last episode. For the first part they didn't really tell me which words to say, I'm supposed to say them in Italian, so Janice (the director) tells me to say what comes naturally.

Dani and I get into our positions and I look into her eyes as I try to find the words to describe what I think of her... I mean... what carina thinks of maya. She looks at me and smiles.

"And Action." Janice says.

"Sei bellisima... Sei forte... Sei tenace." I say, locking eyes with her and smiling. She looks at me and grins

"I don't understand a word of this, but somehow it's working."

"Go shine your light, Bella, tell your truth and kiss me." She smiles, lifts her head a little and gives me a short kiss.

"Aaaand Cut. Good job girls, let's just do it again one more time please."

We get ready to roll the scene again and I get an idea to mess with her a little bit.

"And Action." Janice says.

"Sei bellisima... Sei forte... Sei tenace." I say. Smiling again, looking at her like we are the only people in the room.

"I don't understand a word of this, but somehow it's working." She says.

"Go shine your light Bella, tell your truth... and dammi un bacio." I say smiling. She plays along lifts her head, smiles at me and says "oh, was that kiss me?"

"yeah" I say, we both laugh as we pull in for a kiss, it lasted a bit longer than the first one, it was nicer too. We are still kissing when we hear Janice say "Cut".

She walks over to us, smiles and says "THAT was incredible. Thank you ladies!" she says, looking at us. I guess she really liked the scene cause she couldn't stop smiling, neither could Danielle and I.

Dani and I head outside, we start walking towards the hair and makeup trailer. I already finished my scenes in this episode and I have to film some scenes in the grey's set but we are filming them later.

"You really need to teach me some Italian" Dani says while she gets her makeup ready.

"I don't know, I kind of like it when you try to figure out what I'm saying" I say smiling.

"Well that last one was pretty easy, Dammi un becio?"

"Un bacio" I correct her. "But that was really close"

"It's pretty, It's a great pickup line, goes straight to the point. I bet it's your secret weapon in dates"

"Oh no, I'm terrible at pickup lines, at flirting in general, I suck at it."

"Ugh no you don't, you are the biggest flirt I know. Plus you are like... the definition of beautiful, I don't think you would even have to speak for someone to fall head over heels for you."

"Noo!, stoop it. You are too kind" I say laughing. "For it to work, though, I would actually have to go on a date... with a person.... THAT hasn't happened in a while."

She acts surprised, stands up and loudly says: "WAIT, WHAT? The showstopping Italian goddess Stefania Spampinato. IS. SINGLE?"

A few people that are on the trailer turn around and smile, I laugh and cover my face as I blush.

I hear Danielle laugh and I pull her hand for her to sit back down.

"Sei scioccia Danielle." I say smiling at her.

"And that means?" She asks.

I stand up and say "Just because of that, I'm going to leave you wondering. Bye Bella!" I start walking to wards the door to leave the trailer.

I open the door go down a couple of steps, turn around and see Danielle pout mockingly, so I blow her a kiss, smile, and close the door. 

Before im too far away i hear danielle say loudly: "YOU DO KNOW I'M GONNA GOOGLE TRANSLATE IT, RIGHT?" 

I can't help but laugh as i walk towards the other set.
