I've always thought that it was impossible to actually not be yourself .
The world seems to always stomp your dreams to the ground ..
Making you feel like you have to be someone else .
It took a while for me to stand tall with my colorful flag in the darkness of the air...
I reached for my spirit ..

Even though it was just me

I know who I am..

People quick to judge and no one understand that we all take different paths...
We all learn differently
We all own our own maps ..
I don't get why times are hard
But we're not making it no better
We're all falling apart,
In this emotional weather
We let our eyes deceive us
Making us believe we should follow a trend.
Instead of creating your own to show others how to live within.
The world should let us be free
But instead we're captured ..
That's why it's hard to breathe

You have to walk the opposite way of the crowd.
