I made the tedious walk home in the snow from the mall only to forget my phone. So, I made the treacherous walk back home because mom and dad were at a Christmas party and couldn't drive me.

Trudging through the snow-clad sidewalks, I feel like my legs will give up. My teeth chatter as I feel the sweat drip down my spine. I'm always so confused how that happens. I used my key and walk into the dark mall.

I immediately welcome the warmth. I take off my most cherished hat off my head. As I walk closer the store, I see a figure putting a white envelope being placed outside the store's door.

"T?" I yell as quickly approach the door.

He puts his hood on top of his head and ran in the other direction. "Hey!" I yell.

I decide not to run after him. I approach the door and see the envelope along with a wrapped box that looks like a Christmas gift. I decide I should say the gift for Christmas.
