The Hanahaki disease is due to unrequited love, sad isn't it? The person with this disease usually coughs up flowers that their crush loves. Their lungs fill up with flowers until they suffocate. This can be stopped if the person decides to love them in return. It's either that or the surgery that ensues! But the petals disappear just like the feelings they have.
