Shimura was on her way home from patrol, when she heard someone yelling and someone else crying. She ran to the scene to see a woman beating up a child.
"Stop! You are under arrest for physical abuse" Shimura then grabbed the woman and put the lady's hands behind her back then called for backup, once they arrived Shimura picked up the child and held them against her chest, saying it's going to be alright.
The police called child protection services, they tried to take the child away but they held Shimura's shirt tighter.
"It's alright, I can take them for the night"
That was 10 years ago, now you were in your bedroom reading a book, not really caring about the quirk nullification cuff on your ankle.
Because you were glad that you were saved.
