Chelsea gets tired of reading very quickly so she didn't get to finish the book she was reading, but after she placed the book at the shelf she noticed that Ms.Smith wasn't at the usual spot where she always see her, Instead she saw a new lady, she went to her and asked "Hello Ma'am, where did Lady Smith go?" The lady turned towards her and said "She finished reading her book, dear" Chills went down her spine but, she just nodded and bid goodbye, left the library and started walking home. While walking home, the thought of getting bullied tomorrow haunted her, She wished that her mom or father would let her change schools since she doesn't have anything to lose if she did, she has no friends she hates the teachers and she doesn't care what happens to the school either, she just wants to get out of that place as soon as possible.

She's near her house now, she can see their roof and the mango tree behind their house "Nah i don't wanna go home yet.."She hummed and walked pass their house, there was 3 roads right behind their house, one leads to the school and the other one will lead you to the city, "I never went to the third road, might as well check it since i have time" She straightly walked to the third road, of course she noticed the noise of the town behind her fade away, it's unbelievably quiet there no noise just abandoned houses and some stray cats .
"Huh such a lonely place, did i get teleported in some strange town? this doesn't look like the place belongs here" Yes, it really didn't look like the place belongs at the town, there's dead trees wilted plants and the place looked like some place where horror movies take place. She didn't quite mind the silence but she did mind the houses, it looked like there are still people inside because the house itself is tidy but the whole place is so dark, gloomy, lonely and has a sad vibe with it.

"Perhaps some incident happened here or murder" She's still wandering around but she makes sure that she knows her way back, "The stray cats looks healthy so someone should be feeding them daily? or are they eating rats or some sort of uh small things here" She reached the end of the town, or that's what she thought there was a lake at the very end of the place where there are no houses to be seen, there are willow trees at the lake but those willow trees aren't dead, they're very much alive and there are different kinds of small critters around the willow trees, She saw a bridge that she can use to go to the other side to the willow trees The bridge looked like one of those bridges in fairytales, well it looked like one because it's made of dark wood and there are vines at the corners that has flowers in it too, it surely was a beautiful sight and Chelsea was glad that no one is here except her, "Those immature people would surely ruin the sight with cars and their garbages" She proceed to walk across the bridge towards one of the willows, The critters didn't mind her which surprised her, they just walked around lay down or drink water at the lake not giving much attention to her presence so she sat down with her back against the willow tree.

"it's pretty peaceful here, might come back again soon-"

"I know right? I come here every time i have time-"

Chelsea immediately stood up and ran away from the willow tree, she didn't run away that far she can still see the willow tree, "Who- Who's there! Show yourself if you're not a coward" there was silence once again and after a while a guy a little taller than her revealed himself to her, he was behind the willow tree too just just the opposite side where Chelsea sat.

"Calm down i won't harm you don't worry" Chelsea of course didn't listen and backs away everytime the guy steps any closer to her "You- You sneaky- bastard! How did i not notice you, where were you hiding?" Chelsea pointed a long stick towards the guy "If you won't answer me i'll throw this- wet uh- dirty stick at you! Right at your eye!" She never really shouts daily so she wouldn't be surprised if her voice was trembling or if her voice was cracking.

"Chill chill- I was taking a nap behind you- uh at the opposite side of the tree, i didn't even notice you when you came." He was just standing there, Chelsea of course noticed the small leaves at his hair, must be from the willow tree "Why are you here?"

"Aha, I always came here, even before that incident, ugh i don't know why all the people who was living here before left just because of some small incident" He sat down and continued "Nothing was scary about it- i mean well, it gave me chills when i first heard it but i don't know how did that incident make this town abandoned" Chelsea was now curious, of course she and her parents just moved in 2 months ago so she doesn't really know what happened here, and she was not interested but now she is. "I see, were you the one who feeds the cats here?" she asked the guy now sitting near the lake "Yes" he simply answered "What's your name? i kinda trust you to not do anything unexplainable whenever i'm here, i'm also asking because since you said that you always come here and i will also come here quite often might as well know you right? or is that too much"  The guy let out a small laugh, letting out a sigh after "You could just asked for my name." Chelsea hummed "It's Charles" she sat down beside a small squirrel, it looked at her for a while before continue munching on whatever it's eating "So uh, are you new here?" Charles looked at her and back at the lake, Chelsea wanted to ignore him because she wasn't the type of girl who can just answer all kinds of question especially from a stranger "Uh yeah" The guy nodded, Chelsea sighed he understood that Chelsea wasn't really good with talking but he asked one more question "Can i know your name? you know mine so-"

"Chelsea"
