[Writer's POV]
As the brothers were sailing down the river to catch Slowpoke tails and collect berries, the people back at the small city were setting up the preparations for the ceremony.
Among the people were Lukas, Tony, and Racku's parents, who were putting on the very ancient banner at the place it was going to take place at in the city. ''To think, all our sons will have become young adults after today.'' They both thought at the same time.
The Coming-of-Age Ceremony was very special for the people in the small city, as it allowed the Alpha Pokemon, Arceus, to appear to the people in a corporeal form. This was helpful when she had to speak with the young people who were being celebrated.
Back with the brothers, they had reached a shore where a lot of Slowpokes were at. And just like the brothers thought, there were Slowpoke tails here and there as well. Getting off of their kayaks, the three grabbed their bags and ran towards the Slowpokes.
''Alright! Time to go to war!'' Said Tony as he leapt into the group of Pokemon, all of them mildly startled. Lukas was more carefully about not stepping on a Slowpoke who still had their tail, unlike Racku who accidentally stepped on one Slowpoke, receiving a tail slap from it.
After a little while, the three brothers had collected enough Slowpoke tails for the ceremony. Of course, Racku had received three tail slaps during it all, but it was worth it if it meant collecting food for the people.
Next up, the brothers had to get enough berries before returning home. And while they were at it, a couple of other fruits wouldn't hurt either. It was certainly a good thing there were a couple of berry trees nearby that already had a bunch of fresh berries.
Getting over to it, Lukas and Tony picked as many fresh berries that their bags could hold. Meanwhile, Racku had chosen more practical methods by simply shaking the trees to get the fruits. His brothers saw this and only rolled their eyes. ''If you want my opinion, it'll never fly.'' Said Lukas as he then saw a bunch of fruit bounce off of Racku's head.
As each fruit bounced off, Racku's brothers just looked bored as they bopped their heads for each impact. ''So how much fruit do you think will bounce off his head?'' Asked Tony, looking at his youngest brother. As if on cue, Racku let out a startled yell as a pile of fruits came crashing down on him. ''More than enough, if i'm honest.'' Said Lukas.
In the big pile of fruit, Racku popped out of it with a bump on his head that also had a bump on it. ''Fruit salad anyone?'' He said as he carefully climbed out of the fruit pile and grabbed his bag. Taking the most fresh pieces of fruit, he put them in the bag with care to not harm them too much.
Lukas and Tony walked over to help him with the gathering, grabbing as many fruits as they could and put them in their own bags before any small Pokemon could steal the rest.
''Now let's get back to the village.'' Said Tony, putting his bag over his shoulder. ''The ceremony can begin at any minute now.'' When he finished talking, Lukas was already heading to his kayak. His older brothers followed suit and jumped into their kayaks as well.
Now it was time to get to the village.
During their way home, the three brothers couldn't help themselves to whistle a catchy tune, culminating in them all doing a little song they simply made up on the spot. Of course, it wasn't completely perfect. Racku struggled with the rhymes, while Lukas struggled with the pace of the tune.
Tony himself was more in tune, but he always did stay calm even when his brothers weren't in sync with his rhythm.
As they got to one of the calmer rivers, they could see some Goodras swimming next to them. These aquatic Pokemon were among the Pokemon who were on the stage of evolving their appearances and lifes, and their time living in water was reaching its end.
