Alessandro
As I was driving Ayla home, she's been awfully quiet. She just keeps her eyes on the window and only answers my questions with one word per question only. I was about to say something when she shout " We're here! " I don't even realize that we arrived.
She quickly say her thankyou and whispered " fuck you " quietly but I catch what she said.
She was about to open the front door when it suddenly opened from inside revealing a 30-ish woman holding around a 7-month-old baby. A smile crept on her face and squealed. She quickly makes a grabby hand and holds the baby in her arms.
I slowly walked toward them and joined them in the living room.
The woman saw me and said " You must be Alessandro? I'm Annie, Ayla's aunt " while holding her hand out to shake.
I just shook her hand back with a confused look with an exchanged look between Annie and the picture hanging on the wall.
She looks at me and just laughs while saying " I'm her older twin's sister. I went to a boarding school, that's why I'm not in Will and Enzo's friend group back then. "
" Oh" That's all I can say after she was done explaining.
Ayla was busy playing with the baby so I excused myself to go back to my office. " I'll take my leave now, I have some stuff to do at work. " I say to them.
I was about to walk out the door when Ayla call my name, " Um Alessandro, thank you for the ride home. I appreciate it " she says sincerely while giving me a small smile.
" No problem, I need to go so I can get ready for our dinner tonight. " I told her with a smile but she just looked at me confused. I was about to tell her but Annie quickly cut me off saying
" The Bianchi, The Jones, and our family are having dinner tonight for your 'congratulations on your first day of school' today! " Ayla just looked at me and make an 'o' face.
" Well then um see you later, drive safe byeeeeee " And just closed the door on my face.
" I swear will spank this girl's ass so hard once she's mine. " My thought was interrupted when my phone rang. I look at the caller id showing my secretary is calling me.
" Talk " is all I say as soon as I pick up the phone. " Um, sir you have a meeting in 10 minutes with the client from Russia. " She says with a cringy attempt at a flirty voice. I just hang up without saying anything.
I walk back to my car and drive back to the office. All that was in my mind is Ayla. Before meeting her, all I ever think about is work. All joke's aside, I don't really pay attention to girls nor one night stand or hooks up.
She really has this aura that attracts me close to her.
I fucking hope she gonna accept what her father gonna say tonight.
