"Ow let go of my fucking hair asshole"

"Or what" he asks, pulling harder. My head is in a very uncomfortable position, twisted weirdly against the metal bars of the human sized cage. Squirming wasn't helping anything or one, so I stilled

"I'll make you a deal" he starts "stop talking, stop moving, and stop breathing"

"Or else" I interrupt

"Next time I won't pull your hair" he releases my hair and looks at my fair "I'm starving, so maybe I'll take a sip of your blood... After all, human blood is heavenly"

"Quinlynn will be quiet... promise please just leave us alone" Myla whispers. It's the first thing she's said since being locked in here. I swear, I almost forgot she was here.

"Like hell I will, they locked us up" I look t her "for no god-damned reason in cages, We are not animals."

"I can smell your blood from here" he says, unlocking the cage door and stalking towards us.

"DON'T TOUCH HER" a voice calls out from somewhere in a different room

"But she cut herself and her blood is tempting me" he replies, but no one answers. I look down at my arm, sure enough there is a cut down the length of my forearm, I probably got it when I fell earlier.

"You know ... he said I couldn't touch you", he points at me "but he didn't say anything about her" her says, pointing at Myla. Suddenly in his grip, Myla is screaming and kicking, the fear clearly visible in her eyes as she looks at me.

"Don't fucking touch her" I look him dead in the eye

"You" he points again "are my prisoner, and frankly I'm getting tired of your attitude Missy. I can't harm you... so maybe harming her will shut you up." I couldn't take it anymore, I charged fist up ready to punch him, but he was too fast (damn why are vamps so fast). He hit me across the face, sending me flying into the side of the cage before falling to the floor. The last thing I heard was her scream.

"Myla" I whisper before being consumed by the darkness.
