Y/n' parents are best friends with Katie's parents and y/n went to hang out with Katie for the summer, they have been childhood best friends all their lives....or is it more like love? This summer will never be forgotten that for sure
The next morning you woke up with a banging headache, you walked downstairs to find Katie making pancakes. She looked at you rubbing your head and smiled. "Got a headache from the wine then". She said as she flipped a pancake. You nodded. "Top Cabernet has paracetamol in". She said with a smile. You took some paracetamol. "Do remember anything from last night". She asked as you both sat down at the table with pancakes. "Yeah I remember you wouldn't give me my sunglasses back, where are they?". You asked her. "Umm...you took them back". Katie said trying not to go into detail. "Oh right". You said as you took a bite of the pancake. Katie couldn't stop thinking about what happened but she needed to let it go because you were drunk. "You know it's weird because people say the truth comes out when your drunk and you do things you have always wanted to do". She said as she drunk her orange juice.
"Oh god...what did I do?". You questioned. "Umm...you sat on my lap, your were drunk so it meant nothing". Katie said trying to make the situation a bit better. "Omg I am so sorry Katie". You said as you put your head on the table out of embarrassment. "Hey y/n look at me, it's okay I didn't mind". Katie said as she placed a hand on your back. "Come on let's go to the beach". Katie said pulling you off the chair. You went upstairs to get change. You wore a bikini top (black) with white shorts. Katie had a red bikini top with black shorts. "Are Nicole and Melissa coming too?". You asked as you both walked down to the beach. "Yes they are". Katie said with a smile. "Omg no, that's going to be so embarrassing they saw me last night ughhhh". You said putting your head in your hands as you walked. "Don't do that, it's fine". Katie said pulling your hands away from your face. You got closer to the beach and saw Melissa and Nicole in the distance. "Katie I can't, let's just go back to your house please". You said as you turned to face her. "You can it's not that bad, trust me". She said pulling you in a hug. "...ok". You said as you continued walking.
"Y/n, Katie!". Nicole said as you both walked over to them. "Hey guys". You said with a little smile. Melissa said hi to you and then walked over to Katie. "Is she okay". Melissa asked Katie. "She is embarrassed, I had to tell her what happened last night". Katie said looking over at you talking to Nicole. "Ohh". Melissa said as they both sat down on a beach towel. Katie was just staring at you laughing with Nicole "So then-....Katie? Hello earth to Katie!". Melissa said as she noticed Katie wasn't listening to her. "Uh um yeah". Katie said as she finally took her eyes off you. "You know if you like her, you should do something". Melissa whispered. "Huh? I-I don't know what you are talking about, we are just friends". Katie said trying to convince herself. "I am not stupid Katie, you haven't stoped staring at her the whole time we have been sat here". Melissa told her. "Katie! Do you want to go in the ocean with me, Nicole doesn't want too". You shouted to her. "Yeah sure, let's go". Katie said as she got up. "Do something about it McGrath". Melissa said as Katie walked off.
You are Katie were running after each other in the ocean. "They would be a cute couple, don't you think Mel?". Nicole asked. "Yes they would". Melissa said with a smile. "Hahaha ahhh". You screamed as you ran down the beach with Katie running after you. She pick you up from behind and spun you round, she then placed you back down and you locked eyes. Katie leaned in but you just laughed and ran off again into the ocean. "Come on loser!". You shouted back to Katie. She ran after you. "Katie is head over heels for that girl but won't admit it". Melissa said to Nicole. You and Katie were walking back to the other two, you grabbed her hand as two teenage girls ran over to you both. "Omg hi Katie! Can we have a picture?". One of them asked. "Sure". Katie said as they took the picture. "That never gets old does it, having girls fan girl over you". You said as you laughed. "Of course not". Katie said with a smile.
"Guys me and Katie are going to get ice cream do you want one?". You asked them. "We are good thanks". Melissa said with a smile. "Okay". You said. You and Katie walked up to the ice cream shop. "Same as normal Katie?". The girl said. "Yes please Jess". Katie said with a smile. She pasted you a strawberry ice cream and had one herself and you both walked back down to the beach. After a day at the beach you all went back to Katie's house. "I am not drinking tonight". You said as you flopped onto the couch. The others just laughed at your comment. Y/n.y/l/n

"Katie look what y/n said on Instagram". Melissa said showing Katie her phone. "No no!". You said as you jumped on top of Katie just to get the phone. "Oh you want to be my girlfriend bby?". Katie said jokingly. you got butterflies and just looked at her. "Uh n-n-no I was -k-kidding". You said awkwardly. "Y/n you do realise your still laying on top of me right?". Katie questioned. "Y-Yes uh sorry". You said as you got off her and sat on the couch with your legs on Katie's lap. You got a drink of water from the kitchen and placed it on the coffee table, you then lay on the couch but this time with your head on Katie's lap, she looked down at you and smiled. "So are you guys staying for the whole summer?". You asked Melissa and Nicole. "Yes we are hoping to get Katie a girlfriend by the time we leave". Melissa said. "Oh...nice". You said disappointed. Katie started playing with your hair, "Well they will probably fail anyway", Katie said with a small laugh. "Idk McGrath...we have a pretty good idea". Nicole said smirking, this was not going to end well you thought to yourself. Every time you looked at Katie she was looking at you.
