Part 3

The group all looked in surprise to see their friend lying in his mere underwear, unable to get up. “Kasuke!” Naiomi cried out. She ran over, lifting him up with his arm over her shoulder as she dragged him over to the large tree by the others. They looked at him who gave them a drained expression but remained consciousness. Stretching his hand out, he summoned His friend’s sword back from the other dimension still weak and dizzy from sealing the demon inside him while still recovering from having Akunomi ripped from him.

Tenkai gently took his sword putting it back to his side while they all looked at Kasuke who was drained of nearly all his spiritual energy. “W-we need...we need to go after Akunomi” The exorcist told them barely able to speak clearly. Naiomi and Tenkai put their hands on both sides of his shoulders as Tenkai responded: “Not now...you need to rest, if you go now...you’ll die”

“I can’t watch you kill yourself!” Naiomi agreed as tears filled her eyes. “You need to rest until you have your strength back, then we’ll try to locate Akunomi” That’s when Kasuke passed out against the tree...

The young Exorcist awoke within his subconscious with Soulacar sitting on the throne looking down at him with his cheek resting on his right fist. “What do you want mortal? Surely you didn’t just come here to gloat about your victory”

“I’ve come ask for your help”

“Tsk! You’ve humiliated me as a demon commander, why should I help you!? In fact, you're in such weak state, what’s keeping me from killing you right now” Kasuke took a deep breath looking intensely at Soulacar as purple spiritual energy manifested around the outline of his body. An abrupt figure manifested beside him, it was his inner-demon.

“If you wish to fight me, go ahead this is my realm, here I have an immense advantage over you”

“How dare you, you may not be a mere mortal as I originally thought, but I still am stronger than you!” The demon lunged from his throne advancing right for his target when Kasuke’s  inner-demon intercepted the coming attacker, sending a barrage of strikes to his abdomen.

The demon commander staggered back before falling to one knee, the air knocked out of him with blood dripping from his bottom lip. “W-what is this? How could you still be so strong in such a weak state!?”

“Isn’t it obvious? We’re inside my subconscious, the injuries my physical body sustained has little to no effect on my mental manifestation in this would. Not only that, but your power is greatly reduced unless I let your power flow throw my body. So. As long as you’re sealed within me, you’ll never win this fight. Now then...I want you to heal my wounds of my physical body. If not, I'll just do it myself when I awake”

“Tsk, fine! Seems I don’t have a choice. But don’t ask me for anything else ever again!” Soulacar raised his hand up into the air as red spiritual energy flowed through the void...

Outside his body, his wounds began to rapidly heal as well restore his spiritual energy. Meanwhile Naiomi and Tenkai sat next to him. Naiomi looked at the swordsmen and asked: “Why did you want to be a swordsmen that fights demons? Didn’t you have a family?”

Tenkai thought for a moment then responded: “At first, I didn’t want to be a demon-killing swordsmen I am today, as a kid...I wanted to be a normal living citizen of my village when the demons began killing everyone around me...I knew if I didn’t protect them, who would? I trained long and hard to use a sword, I managed to kill the lesser-demons that appeared, but as stronger demons came...I...I could feel my strength slipping...i struggled to hold them back any longer...”

The Story Of Tenkai Sinoku...

Tenkai was a young boy living up in the snowy mountains with his mother and father in a small village when demons were heard to be appearing around the mountain. He was playing in the forest with his friend Konaru, a young boy with black hair dressed in a brown cloth shirt and black cloth pants and blue eyes. They were running around when Tenkai saw a black figure rush past them at the corner of his eye. Tenkai came to a halt when his friend pumped into him.
