John and Hokori sat in the cell talking about what they may do to escape the prison. They spent hours talking of experience and brones power, eventually they broke apart roles and set up the final part of the plan.
"So, once we climb out of the sewer we'll take a run for it." John spoke, hitting the palm of the hand with his fist.
"Then we'll break into a house and hit the hay!" Hokori cheered
"Nah" John sighed, "That's too risky."
"Why, we are only going through the window, we can lock the room with a chair." Hokori spoke.
"Chairs are easy to break, we'll need to run into a place where no one can see us, or will check." John whispered.
"I got it, we can break into a lord's field.." said John.
"But who's?" Hokori questioned.
"A random person, so the knights don't know where to look.." John whispered.
"Ok, how about North east, top left fields." Hokori said "It's the third to least populated area, so there's not many serfs to spot us out." Hokori muttered.
"Nice thinking kid." John said sarcastically.
"Ok, so short descriptions plan, dig a hole leading to the town's sewer system then crawl through the tunnels till we reach the eastern ally way then we take a run for it, to the North east, top left fields." Hokori whispered.
"Sounds about right," John replied.
Later John and Hokori were asleep. They needed all the energy they could get for tomorrow. In the morning they ate all their breakfast and didn't even waste a crumb, even if it tasted like the waste in the cesspits.
As soon as they finished they rushed to the corner and started digging with all their might when the guards weren't around. It took around 6 days to finish, their hands were covered in dirt and had cuts and bruises. They took a break about an hour to heal up for the great escape, they double checked for guards and then jumped down the hole. They ran as fast as they could through the sewer systems so they could get as far away from the cells as possible before the knights noticed. They had just reached the Eastern sewer and managed to climb out of it, they checked the area and ran as fast as they could, north east, and made it to the lord's fields. Tons of serfs had panicked at the sight of an old man and a young boy running for their lives, panting like hell. Eventually they found the perfect section of the fields and hid, a solid 18 minutes later and knights searched through the fields.
"Chicken's like to bake cakes from scratch." John said with a chuckle to brighten the mood. Hokori ignored the joke and sat quietly as the Knights got closer,
"We know you're in there so come out!" One of the knights said.
"Or we'll stab you to death." Another knight said. Hokori was shaking in fear as he saw the knight break down a wooden shed. The knight continued walking, soon they reached the field John and Hokori were in.
"They couldn't have gone that far, it takes too long to reach the end of the fields" One of the Knights said.
"True,"Another knight said.
"Hey do you see that?!" One of the knights shouted, throwing a small blade straight at Hokori and John's direction
