Overnight Thrills

•Chapter 1•

Charlotte! Wake up! Guests are gonna be here in less than an hour! I hear my mom yell from the kitchen. I sleepily roll off my bed and onto some pillows that I had set, since I always roll off my bed every morning. Okay okay! I'm awake! I yell back to my mom.

Today's my birthday and we're having some guests over for my party. Apparently they are coming soon, so I quickly get up off the floor and run over to my closet and look for something to wear, I find a long dress blue dress, and  a bright pink jacket, and some white dress shoes. Then I quickly get changed into the clothes I just picked out.

After I'm all dressed up I walk over to my mirror and Brush  out my long brown hair. After I'm done brushing it I grab my curling iron and start curling my hair. After I'm done with that I start doing my makeup, 'hmm maybe I should do a natural look today!' I think to myself. After I'm done with my makeup i put everything away and walk out of my room and down the stairs, as I'm halfway to the kitchen I realized I forgot to grab my phone! So I run back up the stairs, and into my room.

I quickly grab my phone and run back down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mom was waiting. Oh there's the birthday girl! She says in happy tone, Y-yep that's me! I say slightly blushing out of embarrassment. Well the guests are gonna be here any minute now so you can do whatever until they arrive. I give her a slight smile and turn around towards the living room.

'Ugh nothing to watch!' I say in my head wile trying to find a show to watch. But just then someone knocked on the door! I turn around to see who it is and see it's my little cousin! I quickly get up and run over to say hi.

-C Hey Evelyn how have you been? It's been so long!
-E I'm doing good, what about you?
-C I'm doing pretty good!
-E that's good, also happy birthday!
-C Thank you Eve!

Then I walk her over to the living room wile her mom talks to my mom. So what do you wanna watch? I ask her. Well I was really hoping to see the new movie about time traveling? Yeah sure, we can watch that!

Then I click on the Netflix button and searched the movie.

Halfway through the movie I hear the door again! 'Nice! Someone else is here!' Then my mom walks over and answers the door, all the sudden I hear screaming and yelling from the newest guests. 'Great it's my baby cousins' I think to myself

After everyone left my mom walked over to me and sat down.
M= Mother

-M so I heard that you are thinking about getting a job?
-C yep, but I haven't found anything
-M well I found one! it's just a cashier at a local supermarket
-C oh really?
-M yeah and it's got pretty high pay as well!
-C well how much?
-M it starts at $35 an hour!
-C whoa that's quite a lot! Is there a email to apply to?
-M yeah it's __________
-C k thanks!
-M no problem! Love you hunny
-C I love you too mom

Then I get up and run up the stairs and into my room. Then I sit down at my desk and turn on my laptop, I go to my email and put in the email and I apply for the job. After I'm done I get up and change into some comfy clothes and lay down on my bed and just play on my phone.

<2 hours later>

I decide I should check my laptop, so I get up and walk over to my desk and turn on my laptop for the second time today. I check my emails and see that they would like to know if I would want to have an interview tomorrow! So I replied 'yes' and ran out of my room to tell my mom!

Once I get to the living room where she was still at I basically screamed at her in excitement, MOMGUESSWHATTHEYWANTMETOCOMEANDHAVEANINTERVIEW!

Oh my goodness sweetie calm down and talk slower please! Okay sorry mom! I apologize. So what were you saying? They want me to come in and have an interview! That's great sweetie! When is it? Tomorrow! Oh goodness! That's soon! Yep!

Well you better get to bed soon so your not tired! Ok mom goodnight! Goodnight sweetheart.

I run back to my room and jump into my bed, still excited for tomorrow. Then after a wile I finally feel myself slowly drifting to sleep.

<the next morning>

I wake up pretty tired, but then I remember I have that interview today! So I basically jump out of my bed, I missed my pillows but I'm too excited to care!

I quickly get back up and run over to my closet and pick out some clothes, I get a cute pink top, with some brown pants, and tall black boots.

Then I rush over and do my hair and makeup, after I'm done I put everything back, grab my phone, and rush it if my room. I run down the stairs and see my mom in the kitchen making breakfast.

Hi good morning mom! Good morning sweetie. What are you making? Oh! Just some pancakes. Well they smell delicious!

Then I walk over to the table and sit down and wait. Are you excited for your interview sweetie? Yep! Maybe just a little to excited! I say with a little chuckle.

Well the pancakes are done! I hope you like them! Then my mom walks over with the pancakes and sits down and gives me some, whoa! This is delicious! I say with my mouth full. Oh thank you honey!

Then I check the time, oh no I'm gonna be late! I got to go sorry mom! It's ok sweetie just do your best! Love you!

Then I run out of the houses and get in my car...
