Ayn walked through the desolate and destroyed city, his actions showed that he knows where he was going, it was as if he knew the roads and had them engraved inside his mind. He never stopped to look around him, nor did he doubt which way to choose, he went deeper and deeper into the most dangerous areas of Vein; the areas that are most covered with the miasma.
On the way Yakumo wanted to stop Ayn, but he was stopped by Louis: "The miasma is not as dense as before, apparently Ayn is special after all."
Thanks to the strange powers of Ayn, now they will be able to enter the areas they have not been able to investigate because of the miasma. Apparently Louis's dream was connected to reality, that person who always appeared in his dreams tried to give him clues, one of them was connected to Ayn; but what about the others?
For now Louis couldn't think about it, as he might fall behind and lose sight of Yakumo.
After walking without any rest, Ayn stopped in front of some metal stairs that lead you down. Without looking at what's down there, he jumped instead of using the stairs, his careless actions worried the two revenants who followed him silently.
They also jump down, they do not have the luxury of taking too long, if they take their time to think about their next moves, Ayn would already be out of their sight and it could be difficult to catch up to him since they have not been in these areas before.
They made their way through the dilapidated building, deep pits marred most of the place, blocking a large part, making it inaccessible. There was a luminous blue haze that came up from the depths, and only the light from the nearby lamps could allow them to see with more clarity. There was a strange plant next to where they had jump down, like he knew what he was doing, Ayn touched it; it opened, and he suddenly felt rejuvenated.
That plant is a "Mistles," you can take your time resting near them, since the miasma gets cleared arround it. Louis and Yakumo thought that Ayn was going to take a rest, but he didn't and continued walking.
Turning to the corner, there was a humanoid creature feasting on something. Its skin was darkened, gray, it looked more black since the light is dim. It had torn-ripped pair of pants on its lower half, while its chest was bare. Yakumo was going to take care of the Lost, before he did, Ayn already slashed it with his sword. The way he moved was fast, he didn't looked like an amateur at all, it was like he fought countles of battles.
He didn't let Yakumo or Louis fight at all, is was like Ayn thought he was alone, he never casted a glance towards the two revenants who were following him. Ayn never said a single word, he just walked and fought when the Lost appeared, he never pay attention to Yakumo or Louis.
They pressed on, carefully navigating past the rubble and pits. There was a split in the path up ahead, one went forward and right, the other one to the left. The right one seemed clear of monsters, while the left had one at the very end of the pathway.
Ayn could had avoided the Lost, but he decided to take the path with enemies, making it more dificult for Yakumo and Louis. Those two were always at their limit, worrying about Ayn's safety filled their minds.
It was not necessary for the two of them to worry so much, anyone would stop worrying when they saw the way Ayn defeats all the Lost without even letting them attack. He is so fast that in the blink of an eye he has all of his enemies at his feet, dead with no hope of ever getting back up.
Despite seeing the force Ayn exerts, Yakumo and Louis continue to feel concerned, as his fighting is too careless. If he does run into a herd of the Lost, his careless way of fighting could bring him too much trouble, because he leaves some parts of his body vulnerable.
