Most important match ever

"Fuck why am I so nervous?" I said to myself. I'm currently walking backstage. "It's just a match," I say trying to reassure myself but it still didn't help. My mind was racing all over the place thinking of all the things that's can go wrong. My pacing soon stopped when I felt a hand pull my shoulder back to face whoever was touching me.

"Why are you so nervous buddy?" My best friend Finn Bálor says giggling a little.
"You're asking me why I'm nervous, maybe it's because I'm about to have the biggest match of my career," I said.
"Ok you need to calm down," Finn said as he put his hands on my shoulders
"How can I calm down I'm about to fight Samoa Joe for the first time for a shot at your title," I said starting to panic again.
"Calm down," Finn says shaking my shoulders "if you
let your nerves get to you now then you won't have the right mindset while you are in the ring," Finn says
"But I might get squished out there I'm small compared to him," I said as I started to panic again.
"Listen to me Y/n I know you can win I think you can win using his submission," Finn says

Samoa Joe walks to the gorilla giving Finn and me a weird look.

The gorilla is the staging area just behind the entrance curtain, where wrestlers wait before they come into view of the crowd

"You can let go of me now," I say laughing awkwardly.
Finn lets go of my shoulders and fix my jacket
"Good luck," Finn says and walks out of the gorilla

There is an awkward silence between me and Samoa Joe. I look at the tv in the gorilla watching the match before us still go on. "God how much longer could a match be?" I mutter under my breath.

It felt like an hour but it was only like 5 minutes before the match finally ended. The match was a girl named Liv Morgan's debut match against Billie Kay. I won't lie it was a good match but I'm glad it's over.

I hear my entrance music play and I walk out of the gorilla and come into the view of the crowd. I hear a mix of cheers and boos but I really don't care. I make my way into the ring and wait for Samoa's entrance to start. As soon as I hear the very intimidating entrance music of  Samoa joe I start to get nervous again I try not to show it on my face.

I start thinking of the worst possible things that can happen to me during this match. Normally I'm never like this I love a good challenge but that all changed when I found out Samoa Joe is my opponent for the most important match of my life. After Samoa's entrance ended the bell rung and I can tell by the look on his face that he wanted to kill me

(sorry I don't feel like adding what happened in the match but you have an imagination so...)

I walked backstage and the first person I see is Finn.
"See I told you that you can beat Samoa Joe," Finn said first bumping me.
"I did just what you said I beat him with his submission," I said walking back to the men's locker room with Finn.

My match was the main event and I say it was at least a 5-star match. I get to the locker room and change into the clothes that I came here with and left the locker room. Finn texted me that he was waiting for me in the rental car. We normally go to shows together and today was no different. I walked out of the arena holding the door for some of the nxt superstar's aliyah and a blonde girl that didn't look too familiar to me.

"He nice match today," the blonde girl said
"Thanks," I paused for a second trying to remember her name.
"Liv," the blonde said
"Oh, Liv Morgan by the way nice match today I say it's a great way to debut," I said walking towards the rental car I and Finn had. Liv and aliyah were walking in the same general direction as me.
"Thank you," Liv said there was a short pause as she got to her and aliyahs car. "I guess I will see you later," Liv said.
"Yup see ya," I said as liv got into her car. I walked for a little bit longer and I finally reached the car I and Finn were taking. I put my bags in the back of the car and got in the passenger seat.
"You ready to go?" Finn asked
"Yes let's go," I said getting out my phone and immediately going on to Instagram and taking a picture of me and Finn in the car.

We got to the hotel and I got my bag out of the car and walked with Finn to the hotel that we were staying at and got to the room they were sharing because sharing a room saves money. I showered and brushed my teeth and got out of the bathroom to see Finn already asleep. I turn off the lights and get in my bed and soon fall asleep.
