Chapter 5: Awaken and Scream

You slept for a while, but it was simply darkness. You soon opened your eyes but what you saw wasn't a roof, instead it was a mountain...you were confused. You slowly sat up holding your head as you felt flowers...you looked at your hand and saw them. The golden petals that killed her.

???: "Those didn't kill her you IDIOT. YOU did." His voice was echoey and distorted, hard to make out.

Y/N: "I didn't kill her! I tried to save her!" You got up looking around and seeing everything was dark around you, an endless space.

???: "And I'm supposed to believe that? Even when I saw you do it!" His voice got worse, then a slow cackle came from behind you.

Y/N: You turned your head around to see a tree. "This isn't funny. I did NOTHING!" You were starting to get agitated.

???: "If you did nothing, then why are you HOLDING HER CORPSE?" The laughter got worse, and louder.

Y/N: You turned your head back around and your eyes widen in horror.. "Stop! I didn't do this!" Your hand trembled as her bloodied corpse was in front of you, while you held her by the throat.

???: "Then who did? Who gave her a soul? You practically GAVE her to death!" The voice became clearer as the darkness kept coming towards you.

Y/N: "I gave her a chance! I didn't kill her!" Your voice was getting weaker as tears ran down your face.

The darkness overwhelmed you as the scene would glitch out, multiple hands grabbing you..and the sound of her coming through.

FFChara?: "How could you...I TRUSTED YOU."

FFChara?: "You killed me..."

FFChara?: "I just wanted to be with you.."

FFChara?: "It's all your fault."

FFChara?: "You killed me."

FFChara?: "YOU killed ME"

Each voice you heard was different, each one showing their face to you with a missing eye, cut off arm, or even sometimes a broken soul in front of you. You could only stand there and watch in horror as everything just kept coming at you. Soon the darkness goes and only a glow remains in front of you, a new man is visible to you.

???: "Can't you see? You will forever be what I need you to be. A DIRTY AU KILLER." His voice got distorted at the end as a loud laugh is heard.

Y/N: You looked down, unable to look. "You're right. I don't deserve anything."

The man stood tall above you, he looked like you but with a much more sinister aura. He looked down upon you.

You?: "Oh c'mon Y/N you have so much more to do. Just think of all the people you can kill to help you." He raised your chin up to meet his eyes...they glowed the opposite of yours.

Somewhere deep inside your soul, something happened...
Your eyes, a deep yellow orange glow matching the one staring at you.
You were done.

Y/N: "You know what. Fuck you." You grabbed his hand and started to twist it. "I've had it with this! I'm done being a puppet, I don't even care anymore!" You pushed him back as twin daggers appeared in your hands. "Fuck the AU's. Fuck the Glitches and Guardians. FUCK ALL OF IT!"

The world around you would start to crumble as the man smiles...you hated it. Then she appears one more time...

FFChara?: "Why didn't you die instead?" You felt something stab your head...

Y/N: You sat up in your bed very quickly screaming as you held your chest. "I DIDN'T DO IT!"
