𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒 | 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫

Lowen went up to Light. Light glaring at him. He said, "Light, you know how you picked up a strange book?" Light nodded. Lowen was shocked to see another shinigami. He said, "You have a shinigami too?" Light said, "Yes, I do. His name is Ryuk. What about yours?" Light rather looked friendly, not like before. That made Lowen become suspicious of him. Lowen said, "Aren't you normally unfriendly and not approachable?" Light was shocked.

Light said, "What do you mean? I normally am like this, I don't know what your talking about." Lowen smiled. He said, "You're acting strange, I was observing you since yesterday and this isn't how you usually act, Yagami." Light was kind of surprised, saying  "Well, maybe we're both Death Note users and can be friends. I want to end the life of criminals. Why are you using the Death Note?" Lowen smiled, he replied, "Same." Light was stuned that someone thought the way he did. Lowen leaned his hand close to Light, asking for a handshake. Light gladly took it, and it was confirmed. They're gonna change the world.

SCHOOL

Lowen walked to his classroom, almost forgot where it was. He continued to walk and found his classroom. Ichiro wasn't here. He was confused. He sat behind a girl with red hair, next to the window. The view was pretty, clouds flying fluffyly and the bright sun then light blue colored sky. It amused Lowen. The teacher was taking History class, pretty boring if you ask Lowen. But since it was about Japanese Culture, he tolerated it. He was also obsevering Light. His shinigami hovering over the ground.

Ryuk told Light, "This is really boring, don't you wanna go outside and get some apples. I'm starving." Light nodded no. Ryuk looked a bit sad but understood. Calikarcha looked a bit confused. He asked Lowen, "What are apples?" Lowen whispered, "Apples are a fruit, they're red and green in color. It's pretty sweet, I can get you some later if you wanna try them out." Calikarcha nodded yes. Ryuk stared at Lowen. It just got awkward.

AT LUNCH

Ichiro ran to Lowen. "LOWEN! Hi!" Lowen looked at Ichiro. "Hello Ichiro, what do you have for lunch?" Lowen asked. In response Ichiro said, "Sushi, it's my favorite. And you?" Lowen said, "Nothing, I'm not hungry." Ichiro was confused. "Okay but what if you get sick, Lowen?" Ichiro said. Lowen said in reply, "I won't, I'm used to it." Emi came by. "Hey, newbie." Lowen waved, not wanting to talk her. Emi was.. furious, she knocked Lowen's shoulders. No reply. Lowen walked away. Pissed off at her. Lowen didn't like being called somebody new.

CLASS SKIP, AFTER SCHOOL

Lowen ran to his house.
