Chiaki POV:
Standing in the classroom you could see the impact of the reveal of the S-System, leaving everyone worrying and anxious about points and whether or not they would actually be able to make it through the month. So…
Ike: Hey Yamauchi, what took you so long?
With a smile on his face Yamauchi responded.
Yamauchi: Heh and here I thought that I was quite early
Ike: Are you ready to place your bets?
Yamauchi: Haha you know I am!
WHY ARE THESE IDIOTS SO HAPPY!?!??!?
Appearing to have read my mind my seatmate, who was wrapped up in a blanket like always, popped out with a yawn. Rubbing his eyes he explained the situation to me.
Kiyotaka: Matsushita, did you already forget what we're doing today?
Perhaps noticing the confusion on my face he continued with the explanation.
Kiyotaka: Yawn Today we are going to the pool so try and put two and two together
Finishing his explanation, Ayanokoji's head once again returned to his blanket leaving me looking a human sized cocoon.
Putting him aside for the moment I thought about what he said.
Chiaki: Excited boys, a pool, betting, girls……
Finally putting it together I instinctively positioned my hands to cover my chest and looked at the duo with utter disgust.
Chiaki: Perverts
TimeSkip to the Pool
Kiyotaka POV:
Quickly getting changed I made my way to the pool. Looking at the beautiful sight I couldn’t help but think that I should be feeling melancholy. The ever still water, and the sun coming in through the windows casting a warm glow over it all.
Kiyotaka: Sigh This beautiful sight will soon be defiled by the horrible creatures known as highschoolers, I might as well enjoy it while I can
Chiaki POV:
Finally getting changed into the school provided swimsuit I couldn’t help but feel rage at the thought of what those boys might be betting on.
Chiaki: I’m already done changing so I’ll meet you guys at the pool
Maya: OK
Waving goodbye to Sato, I made my way towards the pool. Taking in the beautiful sight I spotted something else that caught my eye. Ayanokoji was floating peacefully in the water, clearly enjoying the peacefulness before our classmates ruined it.
Walking towards the edge of the pool I sat down with my feet dipping in the water. I watched Ayanokoji, almost as if mesmerized, as the sun's rays illuminated his brown hair which swayed ever so slightly in the calm water.
I cursed myself for not bringing a camera as I engraved this image into my head. But like all good things the end came suddenly brought on by the sound of someone running.
Kiyotaka POV:
The water was fresh with it being nice and cold but not extreme enough to cause you to shiver, combined with the warmth of the sun’s rays I quickly lost myself in this ever so peaceful moment.
I was only accompanied by me, myself, and I as I continued to float around the pool.
Kiyotaka: So this is what the peaceful life I have always desired feels like, if only I could stop time so this moment would last forever
