i wrote "Don't be dumb" on my fingers
to remind myself the world isn't in all
blacks and whites
but i still tend to make impulsive decisions
i dyed my hair red
just to cope with my anger
i poke needles into my hands
just to see the colour
i did so much
yet it still wasn't enough
