Sapphire's Pov
"Oh, hi! What is inside the basket, Ajhumma? Where did you go?" Nicolas asks excitedly, his eyes are sparkling and glowing.
"We got a new member, Nico, do you want to see?" Maria says and takes a seat on the couch. Nicolas nods his head and claps his hand excitedly.
"Where did you go, Maria?" Linda asks from nowhere and also takes a seat beside her.
"Oh, you know, Bebo, I got a small kitten when I was coming from the grocery shop, it was asking for help and I took it to the vet, then took it here-" she says almost yelling, I look at her with a frown.
I see Anna is also behind the couch, trying to hear our conversation.
"Oh, really? Let me see-" I jump near her and bent down, she opens the upper cover and the kitten meows softly. He is jumping on the basket and trying to climb on the edge of the basket.
Very carefully I take him in my hand and he begins to bite on my fingers softly.
"I want to see it, let me see-" Nicolas jumps in excitement, he slowly begins to pat the kitten's head and giggling continuously.
"This is so adorable, Nona, what is its name?" he carefully takes the kitten in his hand and It's quickly jumped on his shoulder.
"We still haven't kept any name for him, but soon, we will keep one." Maria says with a big smile and I look at Nicolas who is giggling while the kitten is on the top of his head now.
"Nico, put him down, he needs to eat-" I chuckle, he shakes his head.
"Nope, I want to play with him-" he pouts.
"It will pee on your head-" I chuckle.
"Ew, that's gross-" he scrunches up his nose and I take the kitten on my hand. I place my index in front of his mouth and he begins to chew it. I look at Anna who is trying to see the kitten so, I go near her with a small smile on my face.
"Do you want to touch it?" I ask while patting the kitten's head, she looks away.
