Its a normal Monday, A little sunny, a bit cold. November 29th, 2021. Maddie wakes up to see the sun blasting in her face "Finally" she says, as it has been cold for the past week. Maddie puts on a white shirt with black leggings. She puts on her Harvard sweat shirt, puts on her white shoes and goes into the bathroom. She brushes her hair, Brushes her teeth, Puts perfume on, Grabs her backpack, and is out the door before you know it. Kyleigh on the other hand, Is a mess. The night before was a lot of stress, "2 Test in a day? Fucking Joke" Kyleigh Says. "This will work. Black Leggings, Blue shirt". She rushes to go to the bathroom, She quickly brushes her teeth, puts on her vans, and leaves. Shes Running to school in a hurry. They both make it to class On time. Kyleigh sits down and tries to do her hair, She uses the school camera as her mirror, "Ok, i'm good" she says. Maddie gets up and starts walking to Peter "Ew what are you guys doing" she says. Sebastion talks back with a "Who's talking to you" Peter interrupts "Yeah who's talking to you?" "Shut up Peter no one likes you that's why you're Gay and Ugly" "Don't you have a crush on him" Gabe says. "NO I DON'T", "Yeah Ok". Mrs.Harnett tells Maddie to sit back at her desk with her disruptive attitude. She sits and starts scribbling on her blank white paper. Kyleigh goes up to her nervous, "Hey Maddie!, "Omg Hey Kyleigh!!" They both sit and have a deep conversation. Kyleigh heart pumps, pumps so hard. Her love for Maddie is Un-match and Un-taimed. They're meant to be together, soulmates if you will. "Shes mine and mine only" Says kyleigh in her head. "Wait do you have your bath and body works hand sanitizer?" Ask Kyleigh, "Duh of course why wouldn't i have my bath and body works Hand Sanitizer on me?" Replies Maddie. "It smells like Peppermint" Says Kyleigh while laughing, "Well i mean it's the Holidays, I'm trying to get into the mood of Christmas." "Yeah but its not even December", "Well its about to be and once it hits December 1st, My Mini Tree is going on my desk at home." The Bell Rings, "Ok Go to your next class!!" Says Mrs.Harnett. Maddie and Kyleigh just sit, since they have Ela their first class. They look over at Gabe who's throwing hearts at Brayan behind his back, Per usual. "Why can't he get over him?" Says Maddie, "Well i mean with a boy like that i really can't resist him" Replies Gabe. "Watup boy!" Exclaims Jonamyr, Mr.Sanders walks in all big and bad, Jestina, Talia, Vanity, And Cole. "Ok class Today we are gonna be working on Pronouns and Adverbs!" Says Mrs.Harnett. Maddie Just stares, Daydreams, Imagines. She imagines a life with Kyleigh, a Relationship, ANYTHING. Maddie Needs and wants her. "Shes the only reason i come to school everyday" says Maddie under her breath. Everyone stares at her like she committed a Crime. Maddie had been talking to herself under her breath for 5 minutes. No binder, No pencil out, Nothing. Just her and her obsessive thoughts about Kyleigh and Her. "Maddie second time ive had to warn you today" Says Mrs.Harnett. Maddie walks as if nothing happened. Like she wasn't obsessing over Kyleigh. "Can someone help Maddie get prepared?" Asked Mrs.Harnett. Kyeligh quickly raises her hand and walks over to Maddie's Desk. "Its ok" She says. Maddie just sits their in silence, wishing they were together, Wishing they were going out together, and wishing, just wishing, they would someday, acknowledge they both love eachother. The class goes on, and eventually the bell rings. *BEEP*. Maddie leaves, So does Kyleigh. Kyleigh goes to PE, Rileys also at PE. They sit and talk, "Maddie was acting so weird in class today. She was like possessed. Under some type of spell." "Maybe a love spell" Says Riley. "Eww!!" They both laugh and get into the line at the Gaga Ball pit. Kyeligh rushes as if an apocalypse was on its way. She sure does love Gaga Ball. Ive always noticed Kyleigh is always on top of everything. Passing out books, Going up on the board, Volunteering, Going out with her friends. And i wonder if this takes a toll on Kyleigh. Does she not get tired? And on top of that she plays soccer. Imagine doing all that, and doing all your work, AND Getting good grades. No one knows how she does it, but she does. "Ga Ga Ball" Everyone exclaims. Everyone targets Kyleigh, Nobody likes her. People think shes annoying, obnoxious if you must. "Wtf" Kyleigh says. She walks back to the bleachers. Riley feels bad, Super bad. Riley also likes her, And has a picture of the both of them on her wall. Manifesting, And wishing Kyleigh was her girl. Class ends, They both walk separate ways. Kyleigh feels tingly around Riley, Something about her makes her bubble. She gets butterfly's in her stomach. Kyleigh feels split on who's her best friend, and who's meant to be. She goes to her special, thinking about things. She walks to lunch with an emotion full of hope, She sees Riley. They always sit together. Maddie sits down next to Lauren and just starts staring off at Kyleigh. "Are you gonna eat that?" Says Lauren. Maddie snaps back, "Shut up i was doing something." "What staring off thinking about you and Peter making out under the Gym bleachers?" "No you dumb ass i cant even go under the bleachers." "Um yes you can", "No i cant" Replies Maddie. "Hes gay anyways so it doesn't even matter" Says Maddie. Lauren Laughs. *Table one through five front row can be dismissed* Says Mr.Luia. Maddie Leaves and just thinks about her. Her smile, laugh, face, everything about her is great. Besides the fact they're not together. They go to their homeroom and sit down, Its not our Recess day, so they can do whatever they want. Kyleigh goes behind Maddie and puts her arms around her chest, Maddie's eyes open wide, and wider. She thinks that she got the hint, that everything is going as planned. "Thank you God" she says in her head. This is how their relationship starts!! "HAHAHAHA I was playing with you" Kyleigh says. Maddies eyes close, her heart shatters, she feels pressure on her chest. Everything went wrong so fast, so quickly, so stupidly. This is how they could've started dating, It could've been so romantic. Maddie will remember this for the rest of her life. "Oh, yeah" Maddie Says. "Can i use the bathroom?", "Yes you may" says Mrs.Harnett. Maddie leaves and takes the pass. Not even signing out. She rushes into the Bathroom, closes the stall, and lets it out. She cries like her mother just died tragically, she cries as if something awful has happened. Maddie felt like a Murder had Taken place, and she was a victim of it. The bell rings, She has to go. She looks in the Mirror, "Rileys a fucking bitch, Shes not gonna have her, Shes Mine." Maddie walks back to her class and grabs her things. Kyleigh Notices her and asked what was wrong. Maddie looked at her cold, a tear went down. You could see her eyes watery and full of emotion. And then she just walks off. They go into Social Studies, one crying, and the other thinking. Mrs.Mellow talks about the Civil War and how many lives were lost during it. To Maddie, It felt like a War had just broken out Between Her and Riley. Maddie Knew that if Riley made any sort of comment, she would go insane. The Bell rings, Time feels like its frozen. It feels as if Anyone walked to get a drink, no one would notice. Then everything Goes Dark. Maddie wakes up, In the Hospital bed. People are next to her crying and praying. "Maddie Are you ok??" Her dad says, "Dad im fine." Then darkness again.
