It's a normal day when father grabbed my arm leading me somewhere. I watched as he opened a door with this shiney key. I slowly followed after father he wouldn't lead me anywhere bad.

As he opened the door I saw his office and the basement everything was so nice. I know I shouldn't but I have to I stole a book or two off the shelf he wouldn't miss them they looked old and dusty barrly touched. He told me about a lot of things saying it was important I understand and I did so much happens in these walls. When I asked a question he kicked me out. I walked around trying to find Eren it had got pretty late. I saw a guy picking a fight.

" Eren it's time to go home." I said softly he turned and the guy threw a punch. I caught it and delivered one in return he barreled over and I saw his goons holding Mikasa and Armin. I raised my fist they dropped them immediately and Armin and Mikasa ran over to my small figure. " If you mess with me or my friends I'll beat you black in blue, now scram." They scurried away. Mikasa hugged me a little I was only to her shoulder. My hair however was long and silky. I checked them over for wounds. I smiled softly " don't go getting hurt now" I said they nodded looking away. I walked to my house after assuring Armin's safety home.

Mom worried over Eren and dad worried over me. I was always a daddies girl and Eren was a mommas boy. I walked to my room after dinner and took out my secret collection of books and put them all in my bag. I may or may not be a theif but only of forgotten things. I like books but sometimes they are ridiculously expensive. I like jewelry but sometimes only the dead wear it so why not. It's a waste if only the dead can wear nice things. I read happily on my bed slowly falling to sleep.

I just couldn't stop thinking about how we took Mikasa in.

-Back then-

" papa where are we going " Eren asked but I sat quiet not giving it much attention but instead feeling sick as blood ran through my mind. I don't recall why it had but it just did. When dad knocked on the he got to no awnser so I opened just barely I had to stand on my tip toes to do so.

The door opened to reveal bodies. Dad ran to get someone Eren however ran in looking for the girl who was there. I watched him run out when my body finally caught up with my mind. I picked up the knife and ran after Eren. I followed on small legs I saw 4 guys surrond him and a black hair girl. I flipped off the tree slicing ones throat I bounced of the tree Ianded on slicing his neck. I stabbed one more dropping three. I trust Eren to handle the one that followed I went and got medical supplies I fell over when I reached them. I looked at Eren and the girl Mikasa while scrambling up and helping them with medical aid. Dad breathed in relif at the sight of me in the tiny docters outfit mom had made me.

Back to the present

I woke up late but found dad standing over me with a big needle I scrambled away and almost screamed when it broke through my barrier of skin. " I'm sorry you won't remember any of this, everything will make since when your older. You won't remember yesterdays conversation or much of anything. Just know all the... awnsers... are... outs-de..wallls."

When I woke I just ran for it. My bag snatched my scarf and personal things and memories shoved inside. A photo of mom and dad. I urged mom to come outside. Something in me told me to move get out of there. I pulled mom but fell when she pulled back just as the house collapsed. I got up to get help but Eren and Mikasa were here they went to help when a titan grabbed me and mom. I stabbed with the blade I kept on me it didn't drop me or mom.

I let out a scream which echoed when mom was eaten this titan abnormal jumped eating the other titans head. I fell breaking my leg. I saw some other kids. I grabbed their arms and kept running despite the body shaking pain. " stop we got to go back." One said I slapped him " there is no going back you go back you die got it" he nodded. The boat was departing. The three jumped I breathed as a titans hand came down I wormed under and jumped barely missing the titans hand I gripped onto the boat. Those three from earlier helped me up " thank you" " no, thank you, I would have been eaten if not for you." I smiled for a second. " Let's be friends?"

The blonde said " I don't know" I said looking away and around to try and find Armin, Mikasa, and Eren when the boat rocked and I fell into the arms of the boy with the strength of a ox. " Well I'm Reiner" I stood and looked away why do I have to socialize ever. " And I'm Bertolt" the boy with black hair said. " I'm Annie" I looked away and whispered my name " Y/n" Reiner heard me " that's a pretty name." I nodded when I caught scent of Eren. " Excuse me." I said a little above a whisper. I quickly caught Eren and hugged him as he squeezed me as well. Mikasa joined the hug as did Armin. " I'm glad your safe." I said Eren smiled " at least they didn't get you." I nodded. I looked back to feel a need to comfort those three.

I walked back over and hugged the three. " let's be friends" I quietly said. They smiled " Alright Y/n, I'll be your best friend and these two won't be included cause girls only." Annie told me " well it's okay to have guy friends." I said Reiner hugged me towering over me but I still smiled.
