"I don't get how that's gonna work you are both awkward and don't have the guts to tell each other you like one other" Mj says as I tell her my plan to ask out Peter today.

"Mj it's easy I just bump into him when we jog outside around the track and just casually bring it up" I say while looking up at Mj and tie my shoes for gym.

"Okay but if all fails you can date flash" she says snorting.

"Haha so funny come on let's go" I say we both head out of the locker rooms we head out to the football field and take a sit at the top of the bleachers away from the other students.I look to my left and see Peter and Ned arguing about something they saw me staring and both stopped arguing and smiled and waved at me I waved back and look back at Mj who's reading her new book.

"Okay everyone toady everyone is gonna run 5 laps around the field then  after you're done head back to the locker rooms and get changed back to your regular clothes you have free time after to do whatever I don't care" coach Wilson says blowing his whistle and taking a seat then taking his phone out the students including me and Mj get up and start to walk around the field.

"So how is this gonna work Peter is gonna be done running his laps in like 2 minutes tops" Mj says walking beside me.

"Well when he comes back around I will quickly try to-" I start to say before I'm cut off by someone.

" hey Y/N could I talk to you for a few minutes?" I turn around to see Peter nervously rub the back of his neck.

"Ye yeah of course I'll catch up with you later Mj" I tell her Mj gives me a smirk and wink and jogs off to Harry Osborn her long time crush.

"So how's your day going?" Peter asks me smiling.

"Oh it's good you know the usual what about you ?" I say smiling back.

"It's good so um I've been wanting to ask you something for awhile now" he starts to say.

" yeah I've been wanting to asking you something too but you go first" I tell him smiling.

"Would you um like to go out on Saturday and go to the local fair?" Peter says looking down at me while fiddling with his fingers.

"I would love to Peter is 3 good ?" I ask him smiling like crazy.

"Yeah 3 works um I'll give you my number after class so we can work it out about Saturday" he says
While jogging slowly backwards facing me.

" okay I look forward to it" I say smiling Peter turns around and crashes into a student and apologizes I giggle and continue walking.

" what was that all about" Mj says popping out of nowhere.

" Jesus you scared me oh that um we have a date Saturday at the fair" I say looking at Peter running around the track while smiling like crazy.
