"I'm really really curious, how did you became a human?" Yara said as she was really confused and curious about Wonie, her cat

"I don't know too..." then he continued to eat his pancake with maple syrup and strawberries as the toppings

"Or maybe, I'm just dreaming?"

Then that idea popped into her mind, what if she was just dreaming?

So she slapped herself

Wonie was in complete shocked after what she did

"So you're real?" was all she said after she left her right cheek with a red hand mark spot

"I'm real" Wonie said then he continued

"I don't know either why I became a human...wait!" then he remembered what Yara said

"Remember the human cat fiction you've read about? Maybe there might be some clue why I became like this"

"Yeah, that's right but, as far as I know, the cat was originally a human boy before he became a cat which a witch cat spelled him and his spell needs to be break by the power of love by a girl who he first meets and he puts his trust in her"

Wonie was still munching while listening to Yara's explanation, hoping for their questions to be answered

"Were you spelled?" Yara asked Wonie as she raised one brow

"No, I'm originally a cat since then. I remembered that I get lost in the city then I would eat some of the food in garbage or I'll just wait for some left overs in the streets" he explained

"But thankfully, you found me and you took care of me. I'm so grateful for that because if not, I'll be starving to death"

Tear drops can be seen visible in his eyes as he was grateful that Yara found him that day.

Yara smiled at the thought of it and she was happy that she helped a poor cat that day to be safe in someone's home, her home.

"It's okay, you're here now. I'll be your new owner and also friend. You'll be safe here, I promise" she gave him an assured smile to that response

"Thank you, Yara" he smiled and start sobbing

Yara's Pov

Today was saturday, a normal day to do house chores. Well I'm not gonna do it all alone because I already had Wonie here, so he can help me.

"Wonie, is it okay if you help me?" I asked him before anything else

"What is it?" he said as he was amaze by the light in the refrigerator when he closes it and open. "How does this work? How does the light turn off and on?" he continued

I giggle at his childishness and cuteness, it's really his first time being a human lmao

"Well it has a little push button on that side and when you close the refrigerator, it will hit that little push button and it will turn off" i explained

"Wow! That's cool" he exclaimed with pure cuteness

He's cute

Wait what?!

Well, he's cute really but not like I'm crushing on him, that's weird plus he's just my pet cat who became a human, what about it? He just became a human. N-

"Yara...what did you want me to help you with?"

My thoughts were cut off when he spoke up and it made me come back to my senses.

"Ah yes. Since today is Saturday and that basically means house chores day, can I get a favor from you? Can you please help me with cleaning this house?"

"Yeah, sure! I'll be glad to help you with anything because you save me" he responded with a nod and a cheerful smile

So cute

Time passed by and I already finished my laundry and Wonie already washed the dishes, just like I told him. We also clean the whole kitchen and also the living room.

My apartment isn't that big, just enough to fit 2-3 persons in it, perfect for my friend Haven if she ever came here again for a visit

I moved out from my parents house since my school is far, that's why I rented an apartment that would be near the school.

"Yara?" Wonie asked as he was wiping the window of my bedroom

"Who's Jay?" he asked

Just hearing his name makes me want to cry right now because I can still picture the two of them. I know that I shouldn't overthink like that and I need to talk to him for his explanations, but I will just hurt myself.

"Yara?"

"OH GOSH!"

The stupidity of me not being able to balance. So I fell

But wait

I didn't fell on the floor?

I felt a tight grip on my back and one on my legs. Those hands, are those hands from Wonie?

I slowly open my eyes to find that he was staring at me.

His eyes are beautiful

Its like he's holding the whole universe in his very own eyes

My heart...

is beating fast

but why?
