Things had gone so wrong now, Akshara just couldn't help it. She had been tired of doing this but she had no other option. Everyday facing the love of her life, talking to him, seeing him in all the mental and emotional pain was nothing but a sheer torture for her yet she could do nothing, absolutely NOTHING.

Minutes of crying and she never knew how many tears she had shed, how much tired she was with lying to him. 'Please Abhimanyu, maaf kardena mujhe. Itna dard de chuki hu main tumhe aur khudko, par, ab aur nhi kar paungi.' (Please Abhimanyu, forgive me. I've given you and myself so much pain already but now, no more.) She wiped her tears, determined to make amends.

Collecting her mobile from the couch of her house, she stood up and started moving, taking the key of her car, towards the door to go to Abhimanyu and let him know everything, she was ready to fight today, no matter what happened. Her sister had never understood, scratch it. She had never made an effort to understand her or her feelings and she gave so much importance to her Aaru's happiness but today, she could care less about anyone else. No Aarohi, no Goenkas and no Birlas could stop her from doing what she wanted today.

Sitting in her car, she drove away to the Birla house and parking the car outside, she stepped out taking a deep breath and trying to gather as much strength as she could, to let Abhi know everything.

She stepped in the house, and Abhimanyu was ready to slip the ring in Aaru's finger. Akshara's eyes widened and heartbeats quickened seeing the scene in front of her.

"Rukiye" (Wait) She screamed with all her might to stop everything because of the music and talks in the hall.

Abhimanyu had been standing with everyone around him since long, talking, laughing and teasing, still he had no attention there. His only wish till now was to have Akshara tell him that she loves him and wants to be with him and he would leave everything to step up beside her, support her. He had been tired of all this pain. He wanted a relief from it. He wanted HER back with him.

All the moments he spent with her came rushing back and his heart twisted in pain. He knew nothing could be done after what happened that night but he wanted all this to end. He wanted this pain to end. It became so much to handle that at times it felt this was some physical agony that he had to face.

"Bhai, chalo. Ma bula rahi hain, mahurat ho gya." (Bhai, come. Ma is calling, the auspicious time has come.) Neil told him and he nodded with a fake smile.

After a few minutes, his mother handed the engagement ring to him and he flinched slightly looking at Aarohi's smile. He knew it was wrong, but he could easily imagine a witch standing in front of him in place of Aarohi. Taking a deep breath, when he was about to slide in the ring in her finger, he heard the voice he had been longing to hear since so long, that it felt like an eternity.

The moment Abhi's eyes met hers, she felt her tears coming out seeing the pain, helplessness and hurt they expressed. Today, she did not let them stop, she huddled down and fell down with her knees giving away. Her slow dying painful tears turned into sobs and she hung her head down, not before everyone came towards her panicked.

"Akshu, kya hua? Please calm down, dekho, tumhara Abhimanyu yahin hai. Mai kahin nahi jaunga, please idhar dekho." (Akshu, what happened? Please calm down, see, your Abhimanyu is here only. I'll not go anywhere, please look here.) The moment she heard his pain-filled voice and looked up, her eyes widened.
