There was a bright light. My body was heavy and I couldn't move. I could only float there. I had no idea where I was. I could still see the bright light. But then I started to hear voices and saw two faces.  had no idea where I was. But what I do remember are the faces that I will never forget.

I wake up in a cold sweat, breathing hard. I groan, to myself. It happens I think to myself, but still that's the third one in five days, it's been happening more frequently; I wonder if something might happen. I look at the alarm clock and yell.

"It's already 7:00 I'm gonna be late for my first day of  school." I scurry  to get ready and run out the door.

My name is Luke, I am 16 and a boy. My last name well I don't have one. I'm adopted, my parents abandoned me when I was young, at least that's what I think. well I guess you can say my last name is Potere, so my name is Luke Potere. I live on my own now away from my family. But I am now a transfer student at the Great Magic Acedemy. Yes I am a mage my family sees me as a great one, but I honestly don't think I am all that great at magic.

"Hello class. Today we have a new student joining us today. Come on in." She says to me. I walk into the room and right my name on the board.

"Hello my name is Luke Potere, I will be joining your class today and hope to get along with you all." I say to the class.

"Woah are you the Luke Potere. One of the world's 10 top class mages and from the Potere family the most powerful magic family with influence in the world." The whole class starts whispering to one another. I sigh.

"Yes, yes I am. Altough I don't see myself as that great of a magic user and I'm not related to my family by blood." I respond. I look at the class room to see one boy that stands out from the rest of the class. I stare at him and he stares back at me. He gets up and we walk up to each other.

"I-is it really you. The one from 10 years ago who saved me." I ask studdering and sweating.

"Yeah, yeah it is Luck. Now I remember why I called you Luck, because you were always lucky. I can't believe I found you." He responds.

"I can't remember anything. I have so many questions. But first where is she." I ask impatient.

"She's in the room next door we can see her after class." He says as we here a loud explosion.
