A/N: This is my first Big Hero 6 story so I hope you all enjoy it! If you guys have any opinions or whatever you wanna tell me to improve my stories, feel free to comment. I also accept requests!

I starred at the screen as the news played loudly in my living room. Yet another crime was pulled off in the middle of San Fransokyo. I bit my lip and watched anxiously. I was moving to San Fransokyo in a few days and I wasn't too excited about the move. I heard days ago that there were a lot of crimes that were held there, and although I was told that 6 anonymous heroes would save the day, it never calmed my nerves. I was 15 years old. I was a normal girl who attended school like anyone else. There was nothing special about me. I had friends whom I didn't want to leave. I had a crush who didn't know I existed. And I was being forced to leave them all behind. I sighed and turned the volume down on the TV in order to focus on packing my stuff once again. I walked around my bed and settled the remote on my nightstand. I wished I didn't have to move. I dreaded the idea of leaving my old life behind. I loved my life, but since my mom got a promotion, I couldn't just tell her to reject the offer. I slowly walked back around my bed to continue packing when I saw a red streak quickly cross my TV screen. My head snapped back to the screen and I saw the cameraman moving the camera around very quickly, causing a small head ache for me, but I continued watching. I didn't hear what they were talking about since I turned the volume down, but it looked like they were chasing after something. I sat on my bed and continued to watch only to see the red figure appear on my screen once again, but then I saw a small amount of purple on its back. I became curious to know if this was yet another crime happening. Soon, the cameraman stopped its excessive moving and focused on the red figure landing. A moment after, 5 other figures appeared. I focused on the purple figure which seemed to climb down from the red figure's back. The camera zoomed in to reveal a young boy's face. Fascinated, I turned around and crawled on top of my bed to grab the remote and turned the volume back up as quickly as I could, unfortunately I didn't make it, for the group already disappeared from the camera's view. "Wow... Who was that?" I questioned myself. I started to turn the volume up again to see if the news reporter had anything to say about it, and luckily for me, she did.

"That there was the first close up image of the anonymous heroes who continue to bravely save our city from crime! But no one knows who they are! Rumors say they are 6 unknown students who attend the university San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, or SFIT, but there are no official evidence proving so! More news next on "Who's that Hero?!"

After that was said, the news reporter vanishes from the screen and is replaced with a commercial for cat food. I paused for a second, then grabbed my laptop and started to researching these anonymous heroes, but before I could, my mom calls me down for dinner. I groan and push the laptop off my lap and walk down the stairway.

1 Week Later

I step off the bus and face a large building in which the sign says "Cat Cafe." My mother had some business to do back at home so I was forced to go to San Fransokyo alone and find my way to my mom's close friend Cass who apparently works at Cat Cafe. I groaned in frustration as I slowly walked toward the door of the cafe. "Oh yeah mom, great idea, let a 15 year old travel to San Fransokyo, the city where the rate of crime has drastically increased the past year." I opened the door and walked in. The place seemed pretty peaceful with not too many customers in the cafe. I took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of fresh pastries, exhaling a second later with delight. "wow, that smells amazing." I dug around in my pockets a minute later in sure for a picture my mom gave to me in order to find Cass. After retrieving the picture from my pocket, I took a look at it, then looked around to find this familiar face. Just when I was about to start walking around, I feel a sharp pain in my shoulder and turn to realize that someone has shoved the door open, only to have it encounter my shoulder with great force. "Ow!" I winced from the pain and grabbed my shoulder, looking up to instantly glare at who did it. However, my glare softened once I saw a young boy, maybe my age, with an angelic, apologetic face, and an older boy who looks like he just witnessed a murder. He quickly pushes aside the younger boy and gently places a hand on my shoulder. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, are you okay? Hiro! You need to be more careful!" He scolds the younger boy as he takes a look at my shoulder. "I.. I'm fine." I replied as I dropped my hand from my shoulder. The older boy insisted that he took me upstairs to further inspect my shoulder, but I refused since I only just met him. The younger boy seemed to remain quiet, starring at me with a confused face. I shrugged it off and started looking around once again. "Um, do you guys happen to know anyone around here who goes by the name Cass?" The older boy smiles and nods. "Sure do! She's our aunt!" He nudges the younger boy gently and the boy nods slowly. "Um.. yeah." The older boy leads me to Cass and I introduce myself to her as my mom's daughter. She gives me a big hug and starts talking about how much I've grown since I last saw her. Since I had no memory of it, I silently went along, nodding at whatever she said. After she finished talking, she had the two boys introduce themselves. "I'm Tadashi Hamada! This here is Hiro. I'm his older brother. We both attend SFIT." I blinked, letting the new information sink in. "You mean the same university San Fransokyo's anonymous heroes attend?" Their eyes simultaneously widen slightly and they look at each other. "How do you know about San Fransokyo's anonymous heroes?" I explained to them how it was always on the news back in my hometown and they shrugged their shoulders.
