First Hangout

Sorry i took so long to upload the second chapter, I was busy celebrating my cousins birthday and have neck/shoulder pain rn but i hope you enjoy!

JAKES POV:

It was 7:48 am when Jake woke up. Jake rolled out of his bed still tired but got up anyways to go brush his teeth. Jake grabbed his phone then headed to the bathroom. After Jake finished brushing his teeth he checked his social media even though it was pretty dry. Jake scrolled through instagram and saw that Devon had posted something. Jake looked at the photo and smiled. He then remembered that he had Devons number and decided to text him. (btw its a Saturday)

Devon <3

Hey Devon, it's me Jake! Sorry I forgot I had your number

Hey Jake! Same I forgot I gave you my number lol

Hey Jake, do you wanna hang out today?

Sure! When and where??

We could go to the movies and watch something, does that sound ok?

Yeah ofc :)

Ok, are you free at 6:00?

Yes

Ok great! See you then :)

Jake was so happy that his crush wanted to hangout with him and let out a big smile.

DEVONS POV:

Devon finally was going to hangout with Jake. Devon always liked Jake but was too scared to admit it. Devon had a big smile on his face due to his hangout with Jake today. "Why are you so happy today?" Devons mom asked. Devon turned his head fast not knowing his mom was at his door. "Just made a new friend thats all." Devon replied "Really, who?" Devons mom wondered. Devon hesitated for awhile knowing that his mom is not to fond of Jake. "Jake Wheeler.." Devon said cautiously. "Didn't I tell you to stay away from him?" His mom said kinda annoyed "Yes but Jake is innocent! I know him he's not like that!" Devon shot back. Devons mom looked at him for awhile. "Oh and can i go to the movies with Jake tonight at 6:00, please mom?" Devon asked hoping she would say yes. Devons mom gave him a cautious stare then responded with "Ok fine but be back before 10:00 and make sure to be careful." Devon smiled "Ok mom, Ill be careful" Devon reassured his mom. "Do you need me to drive you there later? I have a break then and can pick you and Jake up if you want." Devons mom asked "No its ok, I will just bike there with Jake" Devon answered. "Ok, well I got to get to work. I love you" said Devons mom "Ok mom, I love you too" Devon replied as he smiled.

TIME SKIP

3RD PERSON POV:

Jake was getting ready to head to Devons house so they can bike to the movies. Jake finished getting ready and ran down the stairs out of excitement. "Jake, where are you going?" Bree asked "To go hangout with a friend" Jake said while smiling. "Oh ok, Have fu-" "Who's your friend?" Junior said cutting off his mom "Why do you wanna know?" Jake asked annoyed. "Because i wanna know who your 'friend' is" Junior shot back. "Im going to hang out with Devon.." Jake answered "Ohhh, so you guys are dating?" Junior said with a smirk on his face. "Fuck off Junior" Jake replied as he left the house. Jake grabbed his bike from the garage and started biking to Devons house. A few moments later Devon heard a knock on his door and answered it. It was Jake. Jake greeted Devon "Hey Devon" "Hey Jake!" Devon greeted back. "Ready to go?" Devon asked. "Yeah lets go!" Jake said excitedly. They biked to the movies and went inside. They picked out a movie and bought popcorn and drinks then they headed in the theatre to sit in their seats. The movie had started and Devon and Jake were watching the movie. Jake then felt someone grab his hand. He looked over to Devon and looked down at their hands. Jake saw that Devon was holding his hand and looked back at the movie. Jake felt his cheeks get hot and smiled at the fact that his crush was holding his hands. 

DEVONS POV:

"i have to make a move, this is my only chance!" Devon thought to himself. I just went for it and grabbed his hand without thinking. It was kinda awkward but then I saw Jake look over to me and then look back. I looked over at him and saw that his cheeks were red. "HE'S BLUSHING!!" I thought to myself in happiness. I looked back at the big screen and tighten my grasp on his hand and smiled. We continued watching the movie both holding each others hands and smiling.

JAKES POV:

After the movie it was 7:48 and we decided to walk around. We went to a park and walked around for awhile and talked. After we went to go to this ledge on this hill. It was beautiful at night. You could see all of Hackensack from up here. We sat down and looked at each other smiling. We laughed and talked for an hour then decided to go home. Time had passed it was already 9:24. We raced each other to my house and said our goodbyes in the front. "Bye Devon. I had fun today!" I said "Me too Jake! We should hangout again sometime!" Devon replied. "Sure" I said while having a big smile on my face and my cheeks being red. Devon waved one last time before biking away into the distance. I was standing there until I couldn't see Devon anymore. I went inside the house and locked the door. Junior was standing there looking at me. "What?" I asked. "Nothing" Junior replied as he started walking away to his room. I went to my room and changed into comfy cloths not putting on a shirt (Jake doesn't like to sleep with a shirt in this story). I climbed in my bed putting the covers over my head. I texted Devon one more time say goodnight than I drifted off the sleep.

Sorry this chapter got uploaded late. I will probably post the next chapter tomorrow maybe around 3-5 pm. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and THANK YOU FOR ALL THE READS <333
