A Bathroom Meeting

Josie and Lizzie woke up for school on Monday like any other day, they did their hair, makeup, and got dressed. Their mother had made them a simple breakfast and they headed off to school. Josie had been ignoring all of Penelope's texts, she knew that the girl was just trying to put her in a pissy mood, Josie couldn't understand why she didn't realize Penelope was bad for her sooner. And she didn't understand why she still wanted to kiss the Park girl every time she saw her in the hallway.

Lizzie had seen Jo's frown as they walked down the hallway and caught sight of Penelope, she knew that she had to get her plan in motion soon or it would end up in flames. She just didn't know how to hook Josie on board with it, she already had Hope semi on board, but it wouldn't work without Josie's cooperation.

"Jo, meet me in the bathroom at lunch, okay?" Lizzie asked and Josie was too distracted with Penelope, but still nodded her head.

Josie felt Lizzie walk past her and she stood up straighter as she walked towards Penelope, she could hear Pen's little minions whispering about her, but she didn't care because nothing would scare her off. "Here are your things," She started with a nonchalant voice, she lightly slammed the small box of Penelope's things into her chest, and Penelope let out an oof.

"Wow, thanks," Penelope coughed awkwardly as she looked down at the small box of items that contained polaroids and matching bracelets. "I was thinking you would have made Elizabeth drop this off, but clearly not," She chuckled and her minions let out small giggles, Josie rolled her eyes.

"Clearly," She scoffed. "Goodbye and don't text me anymore, it's kind of pathetic since we're done," She added and quickly turned as Penelope looked embarrassingly at her minions.

"Uhm, are you okay?" A quiet voice questioned and Josie closed her locker to see the blue-eyed Hope Mikaelson staring at her.

"Yes," She answered stiffly, she looked up to see Landon Kirby and Rafael glaring at her from the end of the hallway. "You can go back to your boyfriend now," She added and Hope turned to see Landon. 

"He's not my boyfriend. . ." Hope mumbled. "Not anymore," She added.

"Hmm, yeah, whatever," Josie added and whipped past Hope to her next class.

"I deserved that," Hope muttered and walked to her advanced drawing class, she sat down and felt eyes on her. "What do you want, Saltzman?" She snapped and Lizzie smiled.

"I'm glad we're back to our usual friendship," She sighed. "But, meet me in the bathroom at lunch," She added.

"Why?" Hope questioned.

"No reason," Lizzie hummed.

"How vague," She whispered to herself as she started to finish the Cupid painting she had been working on for the last couple of weeks.

Josie grabbed an apple from the cafeteria before walking down to the bathrooms, she was hoping that whatever Lizzie wanted to tell her didn't have anything to do with Hope Mikaelson. She had decided she wasn't going to do Lizzie's plan or be a part of her theory, she could barely stand to see Hope's face and knew she wouldn't be able to pull off the fake-dating part.

"Hey, Jo-Jo!" Lizzie exclaimed as Josie walked into the bathroom, her eyes immediately landed on the auburn-haired girl leaning up against the wall.

"I've made my decision," She stated and Hope stood up straighter. "I can't and I won't do it," She added and a frown fell on Lizzie's lips.

"Oh, Jo, come on—"

"No! I can't stand her after what she did!" Josie exclaimed and Hope frowned as she looked at the ground awkwardly.

"I-I never meant to hurt you," Hope stated and Josie scoffed.

"Well, you did," She snapped. "And I honestly don't want to talk to you and your boyfriend ever again," She added and Hope sighed.

"He's not my boyfriend!" She snapped.

"Yeah, well, that's not what it looked like a year ago," Josie stated. "From what I remember, you two were very close," She added and walked out of the bathroom even more annoyed than when she walked in.
