Emma thinks you've been cheating on her for the past few days.
"So, I was thinking maybe we could just cuddle since we haven't been spending time together these days," Emma said, hoping you would join her to bed.
"Oh yeah, I actually can't. I need to go somewhere very important."
These past few days, you and Emma barely hang out. Mainly because you always had to meet up with someone important. Emma felt isolated like she was nothing to you.
"More important than me? Maybe you could adjust the meetup for me, please." Emma pleaded, but you just sighed in frustration.
"I'll make it up to you, okay? Besides, our 4th anniversary is coming up in a few days; I'm sure you'll love my surprise." You started gathering your things and left as soon as possible.
You immediately left that you didn't even notice you left your phone. Your phone started to ring, loud enough for Emma to hear.
Emma curiously checked who was calling, "Celena🌙💍" With full curiosity, Emma attempted to answer the call. But you were just on time, you quickly ran up to her and snatched the phone.
"H-have you been cheating on me?" Emma said as her voice cracked.
"What?" You said in confusion. Dumbfounded you were that she would think that.
"Please, just tell me the truth." she sobbed, feeling her heart drop to her stomach.
"Look, my love, I know we haven't been spending time together lately, and I am sorry. I'm sorry if I ever made you feel useless or unloved. But I swear, you're all I think about, and I know it sounds so cliche, but you mean the world to me. You have been here through my worst. You still stayed no matter what. I can never imagine my life without you. When I met you, I knew from the start that you were the one. You were the one who truly understood me in my darkest times. You listen to me and my daily rants even though they made no fucking sense." You smiled as your eyes began to blur from the tears.
You took a deep breath as you slowly knelt, pulling a small box out of your pocket.
You opened it to spot the most gorgeous looking ring that means so much for the both of you. Emma's tears were now tears of joy.
"So, are you willing to spend the rest of your life with me?" As those words were released, Emma felt like she was on cloud nine.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Emma exclaimed, pulling you in for a tight hug that felt like it could last forever.
As you two pulled away, you finally slid the ring onto her finger. She stared down at it and was astonished by its beauty.
"It's perfect," she whispered as she admired the ring.
"I can't believe I'm getting married to the love of my life! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, Y/n." She grinned, gazing at you, imagining the new memories you guys would build.
"I can't wait to call you my wife. All these years finally! I love you so much, Em."
However, Emma's smile faded. "Wait, so who was Celena?" she asked.
"Oh, Celena is the seller. She helped me in picking which ring I should buy. I was supposed to choose another ring today, but I guess it was too late," You shrugged. "Either way, we would still get married." You giggled as you took her hand and kissed it gently.
